The male chuckled at the afraid cub. "Come now, do I look like I would hurt you?" He asked, referring to his fluffed out mane and kind face. Mansa looked the cub up and down before sitting beside her. "Had a rough day?"

She snarled but remained calm. "I know my daughter better than you, mutated scum." Her words were sharp and thought out, but her tone remained smooth. "Tara is smart, maybe if you were too you wouldn't have hurt your leg. And maybe Chandra wouldn't be dead." She snapped at Indigo before turning her back on the lioness and walking forwards to find her daughter.

Tara nodded before she spoke. "A-another lion chased me" she said. "My momma and the dominant lioness in my pride don't like each other" she said as she looked down. She was still shaking as she whimpered a bit. In the running she had caused her paw to bleed again from the torn claw.

Pandora heard Mansa tell her to stay put. She just decided not to listen. She padded to the entrance and stuck her pure black head out of the cave, watching with amuzment as Mansa and a cub talked, her bright green eyes gleeming.

The male lion noticed her hurt claw and listened to her words with an understanding nod. "Yes prides can be hard. But, that's why i chose not to have one!" He gave a charming smile. "How about you come and meet my friend, Pandora. She'll help with your paw."

Tara let out a scream when she saw Pandora. She hasn't seen a dark lioness like her before and it startled her, reminding her of the male who chased her off. She took a couple steps back before she ran to hide behind a rock.

Pandora watched as Tara ran off. What did she do this time? See, this was why she was terrible with kids. They run away to much.

The male gave a soft smile. "She's very nice, trust me." He spoke in a gentle, fatherly, tone.

Tara was shaking when he walked over. "W-why is her coat so dark?" She asked. "It's like the mean male that chased me off." Her ears were lowered as she glanced at Pandora from behind the rock.

Chaos roared, "Amara, watch the cub. Ivy please leave your cub with Indigo. Ivy and Nagasi come with me. We're going hunting. Ajihad go find that cub." He flicked his tail and expected them to follow him. He would deal out punishments later if his orders weren't obeyed.

Amara nodded to Chaos. "Yes sir" she said and went to check on Ivy's son. She looked back at Ajihad as she walked back to check in Indigo first before she sighed.
