Adanne Mater Adanne nodded, for Husk made a great point. There was no excuse, indeed. This intruder would face her questions of face her teeth. And as they came upon the stranger, Adanne's eyes narrowed suspiciously as she took in his figure, the white fur sticking out like a sore thumb amongst the greenery. He gave her no hint of aggression, at the very least, which earned Adanne's slight wariness -- was he masking a potential threat beneath pink eyes? Was he planning something? Adanne was always the nervous type, never sure what another was thinking until their body language gave it away. Her hackles remained raised as she raised her head, ears pinned back as her voice barely contained a subtle growl, "you're on freshly established territory," she said, her voice full of authority in the absence of their leader, "state your business or go elsewhere." Glancing at Husk, she looked back at the white male. "You heard the call," she said, echoing his words, "so there are no excuses." She'd leave some room for Husk to state something of his own if he so chose, but Adanne was comfortable taking the lead. As she always said, initiative was key!

Husk was quiet, watchful; sizing up the white wolf that spoke with such flippant casualty. He didn't interject to Adanne's words. There was no need. She'd said plenty, and although he didn't growl, the lift of his tail and the expression upon Husk's face showed he would not hesitate to end the exchange should the stranger become a true threat. There was plenty in life Husk was afraid of, but fighting wasn't one of them.
Xivu shook her head to the alpha's offer. "I finished my meal just before your howl." She explained, taking a seat a few paces away and began licking her paws dry once more. "Have I proved my usefulness?" She asked, casting a sideways glance at the male while continuing to dry her lifted paw.

Lonesome Dove After the fish was ended and he licked some scales from his teeth, the male eyed Xivu for a moment longer before he reached down again and bit into the fish. It was not a taste he was used to, but the male ate some of it in a few bites before eyeing the half eaten creature. "I have never tasted this before." Dove was a good warrior with strength behind him, but his agility was meadiocre at best with the size upon his body. "Is this... what you normally eat?" He asked before listening to her question. Giving a nod, he hummed. "You are more than just usefull miss Xivu." Last Man Standing A snort left the albino's nostrils, his lips twisting into a smile. "There was a howl, yes. However, there are no scent markers indicating this as pack lands." Shrugging, the brute stretched faintly with his pink claws digging into the soil under him. "What do you want me to say? 'Oh, I'm so sorry for ignoring a needy bunch of wolves.' Does that count?" Grinning full force then, Ding raised a brow. "Unless either of you are the alpha and can stop me with rank, I don't see a problem with myself being here."

She turned quickly, then tried to relax. This wolf wasn't gonna hurt her. Surprisingly, it was the shy-looking browny gold pup. She sat down, licking her black tinged lips, and nudged the deer towards the other wolf with a paw. She hadn't got the brown's name, but she wanted the other wolf to be the first to speak. Shaking out her ruff, she studied the other animal with interest. She needed some allies if she was gonna be a part of this pack, and this wolf would be a good start. She picked up a paw and began licking it, trying to get the blood out of her pretty dark grey-spotted fur.

(Hanne | Mention(s): Revenge) Hanne eyed the grey wolf with some misgivings. After all, she was the one who was sharpening their claws on the stones (menacingly)... and she looked as if she outweighed me by a few pounds. Hanne slowly padded towards her, watching her lick her paw. Hanne nearly snorted at the arrogance that she portrayed, but then again... she needed someone to trust her. And no matter how arrogant this grey wolf appeared to be, Hanne could sense that she could be a potential ally in the coming days. Plus, she had food. Hanne had misgivings about this wolf. She looked like a true battle wolf, one that wouldn't have strayed from their home den to eventually arrive here. And what of their grey fur? Hanne wanted to find someone in this pack... that didn't have grey fur. Maybe the universe could bless her with one eventually. But Hanne was undeterred in her quest. She needed to know these... grey wolves. And this one seemed like a start. Hanne paused for a bit before speaking again. "It's Revenge... right?" She was uncertain as to how the other wolf would respond. But this was what she signed up for when she followed the call of the wolf - so she steeled herself for the other wolf's response.

Naomi / M: Dove, Xivu The light gray wolf was looking out to the surroundings of the deep forest with a curious look on her face. She could see the group of wolves that Baelon made her befriend to be part of a pack. Though her ways with pack lives with wolves only grew to anxiety and paranoia of her old life. Baelon was a side quest that she found along the way of being a loner in the cruel ways of being a wolf. Her platonic soulmate that has saved her life as much as she saved his. She listened carefully to the exchanges of the bandits of wolves with growing worry about her life. She felt Baelon’s fur press against her. His dark red eyes looked down at her with a deep compassion. He barked “Naomi.. I can smell your worry. We are safe.. No need to be alert and shy..” She casted a look up at him with a pointed expression in her eyes and she barked “As much as my heart tells me to believe you.. We don’t know these individuals, Bae.. Anyways, you go make some friends.. I will worry about the herbs and leadership and everyone else..” Baelon chuckles “Alright Naomi.. You know you got to have a little fun.. Not worry about keeping everyone alive all the time. And being so intelligent and intuitive is your greatest feat. Don’t let the past hinder it.” Naomi nodded, drawing in each word that Baelon spoke to her with great tune. She bounds off to find anything useful. As wolves, we were drawn to battles with each other as dominance is key for everything. Though it has a price. Bloodshed.. Naomi did not favor these ways as she wanted to save wolves lives, not destroy them. Naomi found juniper and rosemary by the stream. Her thoughts were clouded with racing thoughts. She started making a collection of the herbs from sickness, pain relief, milk production, everything in the mix. The moss for bedding. Then a scent of two wolves were near her with fresh kill. She held her breath and closed her eyes hoping they wouldn’t notice her. Though she knew she could not hide forever, especially knowing that one was the alpha. She watched them and listened to their conversation, but she also kept collecting the abundance of herbs and sorting them in their little groups. (Baelon will be next, starters are scary for me)

-Bitter Sweet Revenge- She took a careful moment to respond, not wanting to scare the wolf any more than she already had with her bloody fangs. Quitting the paw-licking for a second, she answered, "Yes, I'm Bitter Sweet Revenge. You can call me Revenge though, for short. You are... Harlow? Something with an H. I'm sorry, I don't remember names easily." She twitched her whiskers, a bit embarrassed. She hated seeming weak in any ways. She was curious about this wolf, and saw how the other wolf was studying her. This wolf was smart, she could tell, and she wanted her as an friend. She hadn't had many friends. Not even one, actually, mostly because of her threatening appearance and nature. She really tried to be nice, but she was a killer, a fighter, and had been a loner since she was a pup. She didn't relax easily. She spoke again, hoping to win the other wolf's trust if she could. "Do you want any deer?" She wasn't eating, not yet, not until much later once her meal of the morning had given her all the energy she could take from it.

(Hanne - Mention(s) - Revenge) Well, Revenge looked calm enough. Hanne relaxed... slightly. Not too much, as her misgivings were still there. But Revenge had been noticeably more calmer. Hanne didn't want to accept her food, but her body was still... rather hungry. So, contrary as to what she wanted to appear, she knew she needed the nutrition. "It's Hanne, actually," she replied after a moment. "And... if you don't mind, I would like some deer." Revenge still looked as if she'd be a handful in a fight. More than a handful, really. But who better to have a friend as than one who covers your weakness? Hanne knew she was barely average weight, and... a lot of average ratings. (As well as having a brown coat... unlike all these grey wolves, Hanne thought to herself.) Hanne briefly wondered about Revenge's momentary distraction. Hanne's picture of Revenge so far looked a lot like a proud fighter, and her momentary indecision in remembering her name... that looked like an extremely proud wolf that didn't want to show a weakness. Yes, albeit slightly on the arrogant side in her paw-licking, but not overboard in terms of arrogance. First impressions made a pretty large part of Hanne's judgement, and this was no exception. But she was beginning to like the wolf, and that was definitely something positive. (Agh, I would add more, but I probably need to get on doing my actual work I'm supposed to be doing... if no-one replies when I'm free again I'll expand this a bit)

-Bitter Sweet Revenge- Her amber eyes gleamed happily; she was glad to have someone to talk to. Hanne. That was a pretty name, and also quite an interesting one. She wondered if the she-wolf had chosen it herself, then decided not to waste time wondering about a simple name. She shook herself out of it, and pushed the deer closer, gently wagging her tail as she began to let her guard down. "Of course, help yourself to my-our deer." She had decided to change how she said that a bit, to seem a bit more welcoming to Hanne. After all, she knew that she could be... a bit threatening at times. She resumed paw licking, this time on the other side as her previous paw was now perfectly clean again. She noticed how the other wolf was studying her, and wondered why. This wolf seemed pretty smart; maybe she was sizing up Revenge just as Revenge was her? That seemed like a plausible explanation for her actions. She licked her lips, almost wishing that she could take some deer too but still unsure of the action in front of Hanne. She didn't like leaving any part of herself open to attacks, any part of herself vulnerable. Eating would leave the back of the neck open, and although she didn't think that Hanne would attack it was better safe than sorry. Lots of staring at each other. Kinda funny. (Hanne Mention(s) Revenge) (Dreams... I don't want to be staring at you as much as you do either, we're equal in that regard) Hanne gratefully lowered her head and took a bite out of the deer. Her eyes shut blissfully as the taste of fresh kill filled her mouth. Revenge was a good wolf, Hanne decided. Maybe slightly arrogant at times, and relatively intimidating, but still a good wolf. Revenge may have slight trust issues, but (agh I can't concentrate, my friend is trying to play a double bass like right next to me) Hanne felt as if she had secured at least one friend in this place. (I CAN'T CONCENTRATE. THIS DOUBLE BASS IS REALLY LOUD.) Hanne wondered if the other female would be eating either. She felt slightly self-conscious as she dug into the meat that Revenge had captured, and didn't want to be the only one who ate. Granted, maybe Revenge didn't want to, but... she caught the deer for a reason, right? (I give up. I can't concentrate. I'll add more later.)
