Selene | Female | Red Fox | Mentions: Timber ~+~ I woke up to the sound of other creatures drinking water. I sat up and looked around, then I spotted a wolf-dog thing drinking water and looking up at me. I sniffed the air. There is a wolf nearby... and another fox i think? no? a bird...? Ugh my sense of smell is still acting weird after inhaling all that dust, I made an annoyed grumble and i hopped onto the riverbank to dry myself. I shook my fur and stretched in the sunlight, the light turning my deep red fur into a golden-orange. My ears twitched a bit, picking up some sound from closeby. Guess I'm not the only surviver. I thought, and I leaped over bushed and rocks to get closer to the Wolf-Dog thing. I have absolutely NO intention of making friends. I reminded myself, and I hopped onto a boulder in the sunlight, just outside the clearing. It over looked the whole clearing, the light bouncing off the running river, the trees dancing in the slight breeze, the afternoon sunlight flooding the grass on the riverbanks, turning them slightly golden and heavenly. I smiled. This was my kind of environment. Definetly NOT the busy city streets. I studied the Wolfdog. She had finished drinking water now. My gaze moved to the sky. No birds in sight. Strange. I would have thought some birds would've escaped. There were so many pidgeons and crows and eagle in the city skies. I wonder what happened to them. I shook my head. These are all questions which will be answered in time, I told myself, try to focus on our top priority. Resources. Where on earth am I going to find food in this disaster? I thought, looking behind me at the city remains. I'm starving.

Timber - F - WolfDog - M: Selene, Ace - A fox stands behind me. I can smell it. I turn to look. I have not seen someone else in a long time, not since my owner died. I turn some more until I am staring at the creature head on. "Who are you?" I ask. Wagging my tail. Maybe they will give me some food. Edited at April 21, 2024 10:07 AM by Bobcat

Pandora | F | Ball Python Pandora crawled out of her shelter, movement slow. Her eyes scanned the sky for any more falling objects, or even for flying predators, but it seemed the destruction was done, at least for now. As she flicked her tongue and looked around, she saw with relief that her tree was still intact. But her relief was short-lived, because she saw that the pond next to it was full of rubble, and it smelled filthy. Definitely not a safe option.
She remembered the flow of running water she had seen in another place in the city and sighed. She wasn't looking forward to traveling so far when she didn't have any legs. But it didn't seem that she had much choice. The ground was uneven beneath her belly because of all the debris.

Selene | Red Fox | Female | Mentions: Ace, Timber ~+~ I was startled as someone said something to me. I turned and saw a dog. He was some kind of breed, I thought, But I didn't know anything specifically. "hi. no" I said. "She's a wolf-dog thing i think." I said, Do I... Introduce myself...? I wondered. I didn't really want to- but there was only a few of us left, by the scent of it, so I guess we have to work together to get prey. "My name is Selene. I lived there" I said, pointing behind me at the rubble in the distance.

I'm a German Shepard mix." I say and hop of the boulder going down to see the she-wolfdog." I'm just a regular dog who's owners died in this disaster." I point to Selene." And that's Selene a Red Fox I think."

Selene | Red Fox | Female | Mentions: Timber, Ace ~+~ I follow Ace down towards the wolf-dog. "Yep, that's me" I said awkwardly. I was so much smaller than the two of them it was weird. I ignored the fact that they were bigger than me and I said "What's your name?" to the she-wolfdog. she seemed... nice?

Pandora | F | Ball Python | M: Group As Pandora approached the river, she could feel the warmth of a bunch of different animals, most of them canines, by their scent.
She didn't want to startle them, so she decided to introduce herself. "Hello. I'm Pandora," she said.

Timber - F - WolfDog - M: Ace, Selene, Night - "I'm Timber!" I say. I can not believe it. I found other animals. "I just got here." I wag my tail some more. The wild is awesome. So many new friends. I guess a sheltered life has really taken a toll on me. My nose smells more canines though. - I will post Nightingale's in a minute.
