Terra-19-Angelica-everyone in practice barn Terra executed a quick mount from the mounting block, Angelica refusing to sit still. They walked quickly into the practice arena, and when Angelica saw horses trotting, she perked up even more. It took both the martingale and Terra playing with the reins to keep Angelica under control. "Alright girl, one lap, then you listen." Angelica sprang forward, moving in a fast trot. When they came to the poles, Angelica most definitely picked up her feet too much, but at least she didn't hit any of the poles. After the poles, Angelica calmed slowly, more focused on the other horses than her job. Terra steered Angelica towards the instructor. "Good morning, Sir. My name is Terra, and we can do 3' pretty easily;any type of jump, we do cross country. However, Angelica can get pretty excited, so a few cross rails or cavileties could never hurt."Terra patted Angelica's shoulder. The mare was ready to go again, and Terra was struggling to hold her in place. This was going to be a long lesson. . Alina-18-Quinn-practice arena Quinn was being a champ. She stood absolutely still as Alina mounted. Alina liked to ride with a long leg, and was wondering if her stirrups were too long for jumping. Alina guided Quinn towards the arena, deciding that she could simply ask the instructor. Alina entered, and had Quinn stop by the instructor. "Hello, I'm Alina. I'm kind of terrified, I don't really jump. I guess we are comfortable doing cross rails, but I'm not sure how much Quinn can take. On another note, are my stirrups too long? There fine for dressage, but I wasn't sure for jumping. Well, I'm very excited to be here, even if I'm planning on just taking a flatting class." Alina stopped when the girl from last night showed up(Terra). She had a nice looking mare, Arabian, from what Alina could tell. Maybe Anglo-? Well, it didn't matter. Alina was going to prove that English brat wrong. . (omg, I've hit a block or something, sorry for not posting something earlier) Edited at January 13, 2022 07:41 AM by Dark Moon

Rembrandt Ford - 19 -Black - Arena - Mentions: Árón, Jason, Jess (Indirect), Terra (Indirect), Alina (Indirect)
After going through the warm-up ground poles and cavaletti, Rembrandt glanced over to where one of the teachers for the jumping was, with the leggy Quarter horse, at least, it looked like a Quarter horse. There were several students over by him, two girls, a boy he didn't recognize, and his roomate. He noticed one of the girls had what looked like an Anglo-arabian, nice, not a breed seen too much in serious competitions. He directed Black over to the teacher, he couldn't remember if he had heard his name or not. As they neared, Black gave a snort and jerked his head up a little higher, ears twitching back just a little; there's someone he doesn't like here, Rembrandt thought, before telling Black 'no' in a soft but firm voice. But he did stop him short of the others once they were a few paces closer, but still in hearing distance.
"My name is Rembrandt, I'm a late intermediate, Black and me can go over a 3' easily, maybe a 3.5' jump." He said, his eyes flicked to the other students he didn't know, then back to the teacher; just slightly nervous of any reaction to his accent. He had gotten a few looks or remarks from the Syrian accent, it was light but still noticable. He cold also pick up Black's excitement, the horse was energetic and loved to jump; which sometimes resulted in the gelding being out of a pasture or area, but usually he didn't jump fences.

Donna - T-Bird - Callahan, Jess, Alina, students (ind) - Arena "You know T-bird and I can go up to 3 and a half, Callahan. I would not want to push him more than that, though. He is my speed demon and I would like to keep him that way." She smiles one more time before her face goes all business. She canters her gelding around before taking the line of jumps, demonstrating good form over each of them. T-bird goes over each one with ease, though he clips the top rail of the last one with a back hoof. . She circled back to Callahan and the gathered students, catching the tail end of what Jess was saying. " Four and a half to five foot? If you are jumping at Grand Prix level, why are you here, Jess? Callahan here is on the Grand Prix circuit when he gets around to it. As for the rest of you..." She turns to look at Alina and looks over her leg position. "I would take your stirrups up two holes, Alina. Those would be perfect for my class, but would cause issues in this one." . Donna looks back to Callahan and cocks her head. " So what are we doing for the rest of placement, Coach?" She smirks and lets T-Bird have his head while they wait. . Skyla - 20 - Iris - Lucian, Victoria, others - Practice arena All the fighting has the poor German petrified. She hurries around Iris to put the horse between her and the fight. She tightens the girth and hurries to put on the mare's kimberwick with shaking hands. She tightens buckles and takes the reins as Vicky shoots the "spine" comment at her before stalking off. . Skyla stands there, shaking like a leaf. First the fact she had to jump today... and now this fight. She may not be the best dressage rider or be bold and overconfident like Victoria, but that didn't mean she was worthless. She looks at Lucian and whispers, "I... I don't know if I can do this, Lucian..." . Kaleb - 19 - Lassie - No one in Particular - Arena Kaleb will come out with his black leopard mare, mounting up with ease. He will watch Donna jump before going to warm up his own mare. He will stop outside the group by Callahan to watch. Edited at January 16, 2022 10:11 AM by Feralhearted

Jess-19-Male-Eagle-Donna "I am here because the headmaster asked me, personally, to join. If you have a problem with it, please take it up with her." He looked her in the eye, before Eagle lunged at the mare [Iris] next to him. Jess was startled. "Hey!" He yelled at his gelding, before pulling back. Eagle stopped, ducked his head. Jess dared him to buck, but instead he backed up. Jess turned back to the girl. "I am so sorry, he's never done that before." Jess was flustered, before turning back to the trainer. He bit his lip, and watched the other students.

Jason-19-Solstace-Anyone in jumping lessons "He's done some oxen jumps, 3 pole, and liver pool jumps, and we're trying to do some hogsbag jumps. I know sir, but Solstace was specifically bred to be able to have jumping skills, and I think that whatever you suggest he should be able to handle." Is he going to kick us out? Solstace is supposed to be much better at jumping than regular shires, but he definitely isn't as good some other breeds. Jason snapped back to reality when he heard the instructor speak again, "No sir, but we definitely hope to in the future!" Suddenly another horse came up behind Solstace, and for some reason was pinning his Solstace. Jason moved Solstace a bit away while the horse was going in circles. After the horse got out of its fit the student walked back over. When another horse came over to do what the instructor asked them, the horse lunged at it! Jason wondered what had gotten the gelding so riled up. Soon his roomie came bye and Jason went back to the calvetti.
