Lily finished with the injured dogs before hearing Niko arrive. Turning, she made sure the war chief was okay before pointing to the other side of the clearing. "Night Hawk just got back from hunting with his patrol, he's taking a swim in the stream." Pointing with her tail to a den, she said to both Niko and Eagle, "Alpha is in there. You can get an update on what happened and such." Turning, she went back into her den to gather more herbs for an injured dog.

Sandstorm sotpped running and listened. The breese blew but there were no other sounds, had he lost the dog pack? Perking his hears up the brown wolf looked around the tree. Nothing. Circling back to the dog camp he thought about a different plan. While all the dogs were asleep that night he would go in and restcue Delta. Peeking over a rock he saw the dog camp.

Eagle and Niko were talking while Lily was helping hurt dogs. A splash behind him told Sandstorm that Night Hawk was in the stream further away. Over by the edge of the camp was Delta, there were two guards but he could handle those dogs.

Turning back around he ran head first into Night Hawk.

Delta saw the dogs returning and felt something. Fear. What if something happened while she was here, helpless? What if something happened to Sandstorm? Or any of the other wolves? What if she was the only wolf left?

"Ahroo!" Delta sprang up, not thinkng about her broken leg. Running as fast as she could Delta ran out of the dog camp and toward her own. Her leg stopped her and when she was almost there she fell down and lay there.

Her leg didn't stop her though. Getting up she started to run again, hoping she could get to the camp before something bad happened and they were destroyed. She had to save everyone.

Night Hawk finished at the stream before heading back. A form was looking over a rock close by. It turned and ran head first into him. Instantly, Night Hawk rolled onto his back, clawing the wolf's belly before throwing him off and leaping at him. Landing on the back of the wolf, he dug his fangs deep in it's ear.

Sandstorm felt the claws in his belly and yelped in pain. Rolling over he threw himself at Night Hawk again, trying to get his teeth into the dog's neck. He started to run but at the last minute slipped to the side and rammed into Night Hawk's shoulder, hoping he could knock the dog of his feet. His brown coat was covered with sweat but he didn't mind. All he wanted was to kill the dog and get Delta back.

Night Hawk yelped as the wolf rammed into his shoulder, but Night Hawk knew what he was trying to do. Night Hawk rolled with the motion landing onto his back legs and immediately launched himself at the wolf. His claws scored the wolf's back before Night Hawk lept back. Darting to one side, he lept in biting the wolf's flank hard before jumping back. Darting to the oppostie side, he clawed the wolf's shoulder before jumping out of range. He let out a sharp cough as he circled the wolf.

Sandstorm rolled the wolf over but he jumped back up again and started attacking. Night Hawk scratched Sandstorm's back before biting him and starting to circle.

Sandstorm caught onto the dog and started circling also. His leg and back hurt but he wouldn't give in.

Jumping in Sandstorm snapped at Night Hawk's leg and darted back out again. Then he ran the other way they were circling, hoping that the dog would run into him and he could attack.

Sandstorm jumped as high as he could and tried to land on Night Hawk's back. His claws were at the ready and he was willing to fight to the death.

The wolf caught on faster than the trainees did but when the wolf ran the opposite way, he made a usual mistake. The wolf jumped trying to land on Night's back and Night grinned. The trainees tried it all the time. Night Hawk jumped side-ways before ramming into the wolf as it landed. Jumping off, he circled before darting in and back out without biting or clawing. He turned as if to leave before whirling around fast, claws raking across the wolf's face.
