Chasm let his friend lean alongside him as they moved forward. No word had come from the bird recently, but he hoped Nox had left them. She wasn't allowed to be on Storm Colony territory without express permission, or without a guard.

When she got to her destination Nox hopped into the shallows and splashed around with her wings, contemplating what it would be like to be a duck.

Makya watched Nox flit off. Once they arrived at their destination, the drafty Tracker den, Makya thanked Chasm for the whatever-ith time. He leaned into Chasms side for a second, pondering how he would be able to lay down without support helping him down.
