I realize we never expanding on what kind of relationship Gene and Beo would have. Truthfully, I don't see Beo being an easy dragon to be around, he's far more wild than the younger dragons. He won't necessarily dislike her, but he dislikes the situation of having another rider after what happened to the last. I kind of see him being callous towards her outwardly, but also quietly making sure she doesn't end up getting herself killed. But he's very adamant about not wanting to be ridden. So it's a situation where she only gets to ride on his back when she gets permission. Over time, though, he learns to trust her, to trust himself, again. |

I honestly really wish I could control the mercenaries because I have really interesting ideas for the healer and strong boy especially. |

Okay. Good to know. Gene definitely would respect his boundaries and such. She wouldn't try and ride him , but she'd definitely try and get to know him and find out things he likes. Gene definitely would want him to be happy [because she might feel like a burden to him since he's outwardly callous a bit. She has thick skin but I feel like she's still running off emotions from her parents.] I think when she notices the small ways he shows he cares her fears woul go away, but she wouldn't say anything or point it out and just let it happen.

Oh my gosh I can just imagine that! I love the 'you twerp' part of Mircea's speech, I don't know why, but how it's used in there is excellent. Also, I can literally just imagine Mircea turning on Michael after he says the part about the anger issues |

okay if everyone had to do training and get prepared in case they need to fight (Quill being their teacher and making sure her students keep good form), then who would be paired to spar with who? |

I think his main hang up will be letting her ride him, because then it's official yanno? He's got another rider. He's got to keep her safe. He could lose another. And he's not fully ready to accept that. However, he'll come to enjoy her company and will pretty much be around her requently, probably talk to her once he comes around a bit, and everything. It'll be the flying thing he struggles with the most, because it means letting go.
