What exactly are you confused about?

I'm confused whether or not they arrived at the carcass or not unless I skipped over something. If I didn't mess up my post then just ignore the post about it.

I just assumed you were moving the plot forward by having them arrive there, and I was fine with that. No need to draw out the walk there, I think.

True. Just didn't want to seem like I was fast pacing things. I try to avoid doing that

I also mentioned the carcass when Avis led them to it. But I kept it short and simple. Didn't want to delve too much into the new setting and rush everyone..
