I was kinda thinking that once it's activated, it gives Alpha's, Beta's and the healers SMALL powers that will help the pack. As for the activation of it, Luna would hear a voice giving the reason.

We would wait a bit more, I was thinking AFTER Luna kills Niro and that's what activates it. An Alpha protecting her pack from within kind of thing.

I was thinking the powers could be something like Minor telepaty (between high ranks, and only when both ends want to talk), slightly boosted Scent and hearing, but not to the point where it's OP.
