why do I feel like these two would try to set them up on dates and whatnot by inviting both to be blood gifters at the same place or something?

Their names are Orchid and Tulip (of course, flower-themed) and they have an outdoor fenced enclosure. It's like their second home so they have another place to run around and Basil added flowers that are safe for them in there.
Orchid was found abandoned by Basil and he took it in. Realizing that Orchid would be lonely, he adopted Tulip.
Basil is both a plant and rabbit parent

Basil would be excited since he never had sushi before. He'll be munching down on it like there's no tomorrow. Basil would love Rome for her cooking skills and would encourage her to cook for him more since he can't cook worth crap.
