They do also randomly pop up in common pelted litters! Some of the pelts also have dyes that can be purchased from the various shops or using event currency.

But yes, most of them you're best off buying them if you're trying to collect them.

I probally won't until I get a scope of the starting scene ^^

Also, Layton didn't transition until after high school, so members of the unnamed band might not recognize him at first

I don't think there's a set starting scene. Stace isn't gonna be with the band right off the bat. I'd assume everyone is gonna eventually gather, but perhaps starts off on their own.
