queen. said: will someone please explain to me that when there is a set plot, everyone seems to wander from it. yes, there can be sub-plots (like romance, some sort of drama (weather related, war, etc) stuff like that), but it all just ends up straying away from the set plot and it's like the sub plots become the main one(s)?
i'm in the progress of starting a roleplay and the main plot relies on the sub-plots to hold the thing together. without these sub-plots then we wouldn't really be able to do much and it would fall apart quickly

This literally gets me so mad :') I had a wolf RP last year where the pack was extremely connected to their shrines and religious beliefs and the second the RP started no one even acted like that and it's just,, seriously queen. said: will someone please explain to me that when there is a set plot, everyone seems to wander from it. yes, there can be sub-plots (like romance, some sort of drama (weather related, war, etc) stuff like that), but it all just ends up straying away from the set plot and it's like the sub plots become the main one(s)?

What is super annoying when people sign up and then they don't roleplay. It's even more annoying when they know that they do that. Generally their excuse is because they've lost interest. Edited at June 29, 2020 08:27 AM by ~Non Sequiter~

I get it if they give me a good reason, such as being busy irl or having too many rps to juggle. Its when they drop off the face of the earth right after finishing the signup that bugs me.

Most of the time those people don't have a good excuse. Besides I expect people to have a little self control and some foresight if they are going to be too busy or not interested. It feels like they also normally take important roles, and it makes the whole roleplay flop.

Wait, wait- WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HECK. I was not aware this was a thing. I sometimes make Ace or Aro, or Ace / Aro characters. I haven't even had a jerky character with one or both of these sexualities. :P Bear Claw said: aH another thing I just thought of When people make an ace/aro character and make them a complete asshole. like not if it's a one time thing, but if every single ace/aro character someone has is a jerk. like no - we aren't edgelords we just don't really,,, feel romantic feelings or in some cases not at all
Another thing that bugs me is when people get those mixed up. A Asexual might not experience sexual attraction to people, but still can desire romance and be in a relationship with another person. :')
