I have little equine knowledge and have never RP'd as a horse, so I'm not sure how smoothly that would go :o you could always try a wolf one Edited at June 26, 2020 03:46 PM by Tolkien

personally, i haven't really joined a realistic animal role-play, nor have i ever made one. i would try something that is easy to keep track of though, like a wild horse herd being captured by humans and their stories. i don't really know, but you could really do anything that is in the realistic spectrum.

i've never done a realistic animal rp. i have a couple animal characters, but most talk. i have a couple mute characters, i think it's two or three mute humans/humanoids, one possibly mute kitsune/fox, and one mute hellhound? i never get to use any of them much though- i'd be willing to try a realistic animal rp though, with the right people and a good plot; i think it'd be interesting

The only trouble with attempting a roundup RP is that mustangs can get stuck in holding pens for the rest of their lives. It's really messed up, actually. And if they manage to be adopted, there's gotta be human roles in a hypothetical RP, so I'm not sure how that might go. . Honestly, I'm not feeling wolves right now. :/ . Here's an idea: What if I tried a more historical RP? When pioneers were still settling the west, and Native Americans still lived in peace between settlers, despite brewing conflict. I could: A: Do a full on literate human RP of this era B: Literate RP with both human and equine roles (strictly realistic, no talking horses) The equines would either belong to the local tribes, the settlers, the military, or wild bands C: Litertate RP with equine roles only. Again, realism. Either the settler's, Native American's, military's horses or wild bands that would interact. There would be roundups conducted by the military to gain more horses.

Yeah, I figured. Especially for equines, it would be really hard to get literate players that have a general knowledge of horses. If this RP was made, I certainly would be sure to write an equine behavior guide.

I know domesticated horse behavior and terminology, but I wouldn't know wild horses. I personally don't like it when roleplays have human and animals characters. Edited at June 26, 2020 09:29 PM by ~Non Sequiter~

Domesticated or wild, their both the same animals. (minor differences, of course, such as the hypervigilance of mustangs). And their social structure isn't too difficult.
