ok this is off topic but me and x were talking earlier about this challenge i had in mind basically i'd list off a bunch of weird quirks that completely go against gender norms and you would have to make a character out of them. there would be an apple prize too, but the characters cannot be pre-made. so a challenge to get out of your oc-making comfort zone and you even get a prize |

I've never been big on Elves, sometimes they're just humans with pointy ears to me. If they don't have any powers, that is. :P Edit: Nah, even with powers they're humans with pointy ears to me. :') |

The funny thing is that, despite how much fun it is to make appearances, I have never in my memory had appearances influence the RP. I mean, people will refer to characters that theirs doesn't know yet as the "blonde-haired girl" or "boy with the red sneakers," but I can't really say that appearance has affected any RPs I've been in unless it's a visible disability, they just look really weird, or they're "cute." Have you guys had appearances influence your RPs? Physical, I mean, not the way they dress. Also, Sleepless, that'd be interesting. I'd like to see the characters that come out of that! And we can always use some more RP contests. |
