Both of my starters (they were my alphas) died and while they both had the alpha position while alive, they turned into omega position as they deceased. This didn't happen to my other deceased wolves, they all remained in the same pose they were in alive.
What is the cause of this and what can you do to prevent it? It's quite annoying to see them in the changed position in the Memorial Garden especially since I can't change it anymore and I liked them - and got used to seeing them - in their original position.

All my wolves seem to turn into omegas when they die...it's pretty annoying.

For me it's just the original alphas, none of the other wolves' position was affected. I don't want this to happen with the alphas of my other pack so I'd like to know whether there's a way to prevent it while they are still alive.

This is because you had them set to the 'default' pose, which automatically sets their pose based on their dominance.
After they die, they are automatically set to omega/juvenile because they aren't really the alphas among the wolves in the heavens, and therefore can't be using the 'defult' alpha pose because it's not their rank.

If you want them to stay a specific pose after they die, go to their page, scroll to manage wolf>change image>set it to the specific pose you like them in(alpha male, alpha female, beta male, beta female, omega/juvenile male or omega/juvenile female) and they'll stay that pose when they die.
