Both these wolves are excellent with me, but the first is good and the second is excellent with another pack.
So is a range of affinity that fits your pack or something?

Affinity is generally random. There isn't one way to predict much of it. You can probably breed for affinity, but it's not really worth breeding for.

Yeah, that doesn't answer my question either.

I'm not asking what affinity is nor how I can breed for it, I'm asking how it WORKS, as in the logic.

I thought the system was that if a wolf has affinity "A", and my pack's affinity is "A", it would excellent. Another's pack affinity that is "B" would have good affinity with the wolf.

By that logic, two wolves that are excellent with me should both we good with another pack with a different affinity. But one of them is good and the other is excellent.

So,,, is it a range? How does it a work?

It's completely random like Venn said. The affinity is randomly chosen between each wolves, there isn't really anything else to it. Affinity depends on the wolf itself not the entire pack therefore I can have 2 wolves that are excellent with my pack from the same pack, but another wolf can be good. The affinity depends on the wolf, not the entire pack that have no influence what so ever.
