Name: Ragnar
Age: 3
Gender: Male
Rank: Fighter
Desired Rank: Content
Abilities: He has perfect night vision, despite not having tapeda lucida in his eyes. Nighttime to him may as well be daytime. A second ability is that of foresight. He sees many possible futures, though they are shadowy and can, obviously, be changed.
Negative Effects: Ragnar is physically unable to tell others the futures he sees. While he may hint at them, he cannot outright say it -- his jaw locks up, his tongue refuses to move, and the words will not come out. Basically, he is damned to see futures without being able to send out warnings.
Appearance
Ragnar is quite the large specimen, his muscular frame coming to a halt at just under 40 inches to the shoulder. He was built for battle, sporting a dense coat, a powerful figure, and an intimidating aura. His thick coat has dampened many a bite or claw, though he still has his fair share of scars scattered about his body. He walks slowly, meticulously, precisely; he is not a lumbering mass of muscle, and he should not be seen as such.
Cold, electric blue eyes are framed in a dark coat, allowing them to pop out in an even more jarring fashion. Mottled blacks, silvers, and grays race across his fur, though the lighter streaks are mainly confined to his shoulders, back, and underlegs. Sharp black toenails and long ivory teeth spell danger for any predator or prey who dares challenge his abilities.
Ragnar is a handsome male, calm and smooth, with an equally silky voice. His way with words, as well as his overall size, gives him an advantage when it comes to tactics for persuasion. He looks dangerous, though, nothing like a diamond in the rough -- he cannot and will not be changed. He is exactly as he seems: reserved, calculating, and deadly.
Personality
While he does care about his packmates and their wellbeing, Ragnar tends to stay away from them, unless he has seen something in a dream regarding them. When he sticks close to a wolf, or when he just happens by them on a patrol or a hunt, it is usually his way of hinting at something coming their way, whether it is good or bad. His mood is often stormy due to his "gift," which tends to drive others away.
Ragnar is incredibly smart, devious, and picks up easily on social cues. On occasion, he uses his inability to relay future paths in order to get his way. For instance, if he mysteriously volunteers to go on a patrol in the place of another wolf, he has found it is more likely to be accepted, as no one is sure whether that wolf is in danger or if Ragnar just doesn't want to be stuck at camp.
He makes it clear that he never wants to sit around, as dwelling on his dreams will set him on a very precarious edge that could thrust him into a dark, extremely irritated mood. Ragnar loathes his gift and, at times, his frustrations are vented onto others. Unlike some, he has no desire whatsoever to be placed in a position of power. Knowing whether someone could be successful or be killed on a hunt is enough power for him, and he wishes even that to be gone.
He is dark and brooding, but Ragnar is capable of love. He loves his pack, and he loves the members in it. He would gladly die for them. They are his family, and no threat to them will ever make it through the front door if he can help it. Ragnar may appear as an antihero in others' tales, but he tries his best.
