Human Appearance: Beryl is 5'9 and about 134 pounds. She stands with a small hunch, which has been developed after years of bad posture. Her frame is relatively normal, with slightly broader shoulders and slimmer hips. Despite her slim figure, she has small muscles that are visible in her arms and thighs. Her skin is a warm tan colour and smooth, with slightly darker, reddish-tinted swirls that run mostly across her shoulders, back, and chest. Her hair is a shade similar to deep mahogany with a few strange, white streaks that appear bright near the root and fade out near the ends. Her hair reaches to about her armpits and slowly shortens around the front, with curtain bangs framing her face. Her eyes are a striking yellow color, similar to the eyes of her shifted form. On her back are a pair of red-tinted, feathery wings.

Attire: Beryl tends to wear darker colors (black, gray, red, dark purple) and doesn't like most bright colors. She wears a lot of simple clothing and little dangling jewelry, except for a family heirloom: a ruby necklace on a small black chainlink. She has multiple piercings on her ears and a small nose piercing on the right side.

Shape Shift appearance: Beryl shape-shifts into a hawk, specifically a Northern Goshawk, which has intense yellow eyes that pierce into the souls of those who meet her gaze. (I recommend a Google search on these guys, they are gorgeous birds.) Her feathers have a slight reddish tint, while still having a brilliant striped belly and chest, as well as bright yellow feet.

Reputation: Beryl is a very well-known student, for more reasons than one. First off, the Aondorre family is one of great prestige, known to be talented witches and wizards with generations and generations of expanding skill. Secondly, Beryl is a Half-Breed, which has already caused enough controversy within her own family. Her father, a wizard, fell in love with her mother, a fairy. Much of her family has disowned her father, while still managing to keep some ties with her, since she is still the most promising of the lineage. And lastly, Beryl is a huge troublemaker, both socially and in the eyes of the school. She often causes a stir by having little respect for others and making others uncomfortable with her wittiness. Despite this, many do think highly of her and, for the most part, see her as a role model skill-wise, much to her digust.

Backstory: The Aondorre family is a long line of wizards and witches that has been studying at Argates for longer than many can remember. They are the definition of rich, entitled, and snobby. However, some members are actually very kind and helpful. While hated by some, most revere the family for their kindness and tolerance. This has changed over the years, of course. The family has always been opposed to Half-Breeds studying at Argates, but with the acceptance of Beryl, their opposition has decreased a bit. Beryl grew up in a very turbulant household with her parents and siblings. Her parents, which were mostly cut off from the rest of their families, often argued and got violent with each other over meaningless things. Her mother died at the young age of 137 after an incident with the Darions, which sparked Beryl's utter hatred of them. Her father doesn't keep in contact with her, now that she attends Argates, but she has the support of her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Human Appearance:

Typical of vampire stereotypes, Dayani is rather pretty. She is small, standing at only 5'1. Dayani has a slim, almost wiry frame, with very little fat. She isn't muscled, but isn't stick-figure-like, either. Basically, she looks like a super pale runner, which, I guess, she is. Dayani has an hourglass shape, though her shoulders are slightly wider than her hips.

Long, dark lashes frame silvery lilac eyes that dull when Dayani is thirsty. The eyes are the window to the soul, and Dayani is no exception. Even when thirsty, Dayani's emotions shine plainly in her eyes. Even though Dayani is very good at schooling her features, her eyes can give her away. Her eyes are framed by thin, dark eyebrows with a high arch. Dayani has a small nose, but not unproportionally so. Her mouth is thinner and always seems to be sporting a smirk. Next to Dayani's pale skin, her red lips are a shock of color. Hidden beneath her smirk are pointed fangs that Dayani is most certainly not ashamed of. Dayani will constantly run her tongue across her top set of teeth, drawing attention to her fangs without her really noticing.

Dayani's hair is dark black, with a bit of gloss to it. Her hair has plenty of volume, but that also means that it's a little thick. Due to the thickness, Dayani can't do too many intricate braids. So she wears her hair down, or in a simple ponytail. Dayani's hair has a natural wave to it, which she adds to with her curler.

Dayani's voice has a melodic tone to it, which can easily put people at ease. It's likely one of the reasons Dayani is a kelpie. Connecting to her owl appearance, Dayani smells like a foggy forest in the morning. It's not an overwhelming stench, but an underlying tone. Dayani has a popular girl aura, with her head always held high. She never slouches, never rushes anywhere. At the same time, Dayani will never walk "as slow as a snail in the winter."

Attire: First off, Dayani likes dark clothing with a pop of color. She will wear dresses or pants, with no indication as to why she chose one over the other. Some days just feel fancier, you know? On days that Dayani wears dresses, she usually wears a black dress with colorful (mostly red) embroidery at the bottom, and sometimes at the neckline. The embroidery shapes vary from day to day. On days where she wears pants (never shorts), they are either tights or sometimes jeans. On top, she would wear a black or dark-colored short sleeve shirt and sometimes a jacket.

As for jewelry, Dayani likes to keep it simple. She wears simple necklaces, either silver or gold, with small charms or jewels. As for bracelets, she's a little more sentimental. She has a silver bracelet, which sports three charms. One is a tree, another a swallow in flight, and the third, a tiny dagger. Each has a symbolic meaning to Dayani, but she won't tell anyone what they are.

Last but not least is Dayani's tattoo. The tattoo is on Dayani's shoulder, and the bottom peaks out from her sleeve. It's simple in coloration, being only black, in a tribal style. The actual picture itself looks like the reflection of a crescent moon with a drifting feather in the empty space.

Dayani is an excellent specimen, though, like her human form, is on the smaller size. She is 14 in. tall and weighs .98 lbs. Dayani's underside is completely white and pale, like her skin. For Dayani's darker portions, she is more tan than brown, the same color as her talons. Her beak is slightly lighter than her talons, which looks even lighter next to her dark eyes.

Dayani is a mix between a loner and a popular girl. She's popular, but she doesn't like it. Still, Dayani isn't going to let go of her power for a little discomfort. Sticking to her kelpie sorting, Dayani is manipulative and has a way with words. She will never lie outright, but won't give the full truth, either. Her preference for the truth can make people trust her, but she rarely says what she really means.

Dayani has a bit of a temper. If you make her angry, she will hold a grudge to her deathbed, and will likely get back at you. She's hot-headed, and rarely sees common sense when she's mad. However, Dayani rarely gets that mad, most of it being little things she can get revenge for later. Accenting this, Dayani is stubborn to a point. Once she has an opinion, she won't change it. Even if she learns that she was, in fact, wrong, she will still stick with her initial choice. Perhaps privately she'll correct herself, but never around anyone else.

Dayani is popular, mostly because of her looks. She's not super smart, not kind, and brutally honest. But, like many kelpies, she's a rebel. Dayani may or may not be connected to the curse on one of the teachers last year. (she didn't perform the curse, but she may know who did, she's not telling.) Don't get her wrong, Dayani is still an Antion, she just likes a little unscheduled fun.

In the moments where Dayani is alone, or with her absolute best friends, her personality does a 180. She is quiet, calm, and, if you can believe it, she likes to read romance books. She is still brutally honest, but her words are kinder.

And to students, she's everyone's friend, and yet no one's friend. She's rude, but has powerful connections.

When looking at this young man, the first thing you notice is his average height. He stands at a normal height of 5'9 and he probably would stand at 5'10 when he chooses to correct his posture. He is an overall an athletic male, with a a more light and lithe build with a bit of muscle to him. He's definitely one to be showing off in some sort aerobic competition or swimming competition. He's definitely built for speed, agility, and stealth rather than a straight on fist-fight. However, one don't be fooled by his looks, he can and will give someone a good punch if needed.

This male has an androgynous appearance when looking at him. From the back you wouldn't be able to tell he was male from his slender and trimmed waist with his his assets in the back that would make a girl envious. And to the front you'd notice his sharp yet soft facial features, His well structured cheek bones that are round and plump and easily flush red and pink when embarrassed or flustered. He has an assortment of beauty marks on his face, one by the right side of his reddish-pink tinted lips. Another assortment kind of like little freckles on his left cheek, but being three in the shape of a sort of diamond with varying sizes. He also has two that are in the corners of both of his eyes. He also has a light freckling over his nose bridge, some are noticeable and others aren't unless he steps into the light and you can see them better and they even dust his cheeks slightly and down to his neck.

When describing his eyes they are described as true amber, and they are quite pretty to look at. They can resemble bright gold when he's truly excited by something, and they can also shimmer when he's brimming with wonder. However they can harden to look like bronze when upset or annoyed by someone, his glares can cut into ones soul. However, they can hold a certain gentleness or fondness. It's just depending on what lighting you see his eyes are. So, overall his eyes are very nice looking. Especially since they are framed by long lashes that have a natural curl. One side of his lashes are pure white with a corresponding thick white eyebrows. While the other side is a dark raven color. And no, they're not dyed - it's a natural birthmark for his those in his family. It's a result of poliosis which runs in his family, it even affects his hair as well. His hair is a natural wavy , borderline curly complexion that rests just around his elbows, and the distinctive mark of his hair is the whiter-than-platinum streak right in the center part of his hair that ends all the way down. He usually hides it with other methods but he's grown more comfortable with it as of lately.

This male has an assortment of piercings. However, most are hidden - because of course he wants to keep a reputation up. The most noticeable piercings are the three lobe piercings on his ears with the accompanying two helix piercings on each ear. He also has a septum and high nostril piercing on his nose as well. He has all the accompanying jewelry and studs for for his piercings , and he chooses the days when he does wear them. The only ink on his skin he has is a small dagger tattoo, that's mostly hidden by his sleeves. He does desire more ink just in more unnoticeable places. He also loves wearing rings on his fingers and shiny and pretty hairpins in his hair. His hands can be described as soft and smooth, yet they have a certain rugged charm to them. His nails are always well manicured and are either black in color or some shades of neutral tone. Rarely does he use colorful nail polish, but it's not something he doesn't do.

This young man can de described as having a dark academia and light academia clothing style. His closet consists of clothing like crewneck sweaters, tweed pants, fine cardigans, and button-down oxfords. The overall aura is more autumn-esque with a darker palette consisting of browns, beige, chestnut, and more. And for the light academia look it consists of cream, whites, soft beige, and so on. For him to look the part he invests in relaxed and cosy silhouettes while going for fabrics like cashmere, cotton, linens, and corduroy. And stay true to neutral notes. He also likes to wear jewelry as well, mainly rings that's he's been gifted or he's bought himself. He also likes to adorn his wrists with braclets at times to match. When getting to know this young man, one would have to have a bit of patience and understanding with him. He's not one to be terribly comfortable with strangers, there is a certain caution and curiosity he has with them. If one were to walk up and act as if they were friends and he didn't view them as such he would visibly be uncomfortable and probably would display his annoyance. If there's one thing about him, he has quite a mouth on him. Whether it be for giving a smart-ass retort to someone's stupidity, using snark or sass if someone annoys him, or using his words for intellectual thoughts. He knows how to use his words effectively as a weapon or as a tool for his advantage, and he has a matching scowl or unimpressed look on his visage to emphasis what he's saying. He knows how and when to defend himself, and he also knows how to lie and wait in patience before striking back. Most straightforward insults are muttered under his breath while he likes to frame his spoken insults in a way that the person he says it to doesn't get it until a while later. So if he says he'll get you back it's not a mere threat - it's a promise.

This male has an aloof and unapproachable aura that can surround him at times. Maybe it's the way he always seems to be glaring or looking in "judgement" at others - and not to mention he always looks tired due to the dark circles around his eyes at times. It is true he can be a bit unapproachable, it's just because he has trust issues with people - especially strangers. I guess that leads to a sort of social anxiety, while he may outwardly seem cool and collected - his inner thoughts are plagued with fears of being humiliated or outed by those he views as his friends or being judged by others. Yes, he can stand the stares or looks he gets but the whispering and short glances he can get do get to him at times. And he does have trust issues because he's been burned by others - so he's learned how to keep a mask on when not around those he's comfortable with, if he's too kind then people think him a pushover but if he puts someone in their place then he's a bully or overreacting- so he just settles for being in the background and having a solemn or neutral expression on his face.

This young male is intelligent and very studious. He's the type you see with his nose buried in a book with a pile of books around him in a library. He's also the one who seems to be like a walking encyclopedia with the knowledge he has memorized or random things he just knows. If he were more outgoing , he'd definitely probably would be a teacher's pet . He's one to stay up late hours pouring over random science books or any other interesting topics just because he finds them interesting. His favorites include mythology and discussing scientific or ancient texts and stories of old. He's one to enjoy having debates and intellectual conversations with those who find reason to converse with him. He has a brilliant mind and one could see it through his detailed and organized notes and his own personal library of books he has - not to mention his creative mind and the hobbies he chooses to engage in. While he does like reading books that benefit his knowledge he does enjoy reading good mystery novels , a good romance, and any other type of genre that would catch his interest. If one had to ask one of his favorite past times out of all of his hobbies he would probably say something like curling up with a good mystery novel under a thick blanket with a bowl of popcorn and a cup of peach tea.

When it comes to this male's temperament he can mostly be described as rather calm and collected. Like mentioned before he may have a cold expression on his face but he's rather calm. He's not that bothered by people insulting him - he can just give a rather civilized yet insulting comment back to make them be quiet. When angered he doesn't just spout nonsense , he channels his anger in a way that when he speaks he wants to make sure it hurts. No, he won't go throwing things or yelling at the top of his lungs like a heathen - instead he will use his words as a venom to slowly seep into one until it takes over them. Yes, he makes sure his words sting and stick to the person. And if you manage to be someone to face his anger, you'd be surprised with the insults he can come up with. And if his words don't bite he's not hesitant to get into a fist fight if needed (though he much rather not do that) . He's also a bit cunning and a tad bit manipulative when needed, after all his can he manage to stay in the background and keep others off of his back if he wasn't such things. He keeps his more undesirable side under wraps because not everyone needs to experience it.

When it comes to relationships - he treasures them immensely. Those he considers his friends are close to his heart and he cares for them dearly. These are the people he would gladly risk his life for - they are the ones who he would defend if needed. He feels safe, comfortable around them - they in his opinion are his family and he treats them as such. He shares his things with them, cooks for them and would go out of his way to help them when needed. His friends again are dear to him and he would go on a warpath to destroy anyone that dared to hurt or slander them. As for a lover, this male is one to easily get flustered by romantic comments or even compliments. He's also one to be a bit of a jealous lover if someone was trying to make a move on his partner, he wouldn't be shy about letting the other person know what was his. Other than that his lover and friends are the only ones who would experience him be semi-affectionate and vulnerable with them. She possesses the fangs of a vampire, though not the shifting appearance nor the pale skin. On the other hand, she has the same abilities as a vampire, more or less, but can shift into a werewolf. She does get some extra super speed and strength, though because of how weak a vamp is compared to a werewolf, it is not the same as a pure-blood werewolf.

Human Appearance:
Blair is a woman who isn't your typical girl. She possesses more masculine features, standing at five foot seven with a rather scrawny build. She almost looks sickly most of the time, and her joints are easily spotted. For example, her hands, elbow, knees, anything of the like. She has a flat chest, not much else to her to be honest. Her skin tone is that of a warmer pale color, a bit on the orange side. Blair is completely comfortable in her own skin, walking with a slightly longer stride, her head almost always up, and keeping her eyes forward and shoulders back. There will be times where she may slouch, but only because it's comfortable.

Blair's face is a bit more angular towards her chin, but is generally an oval shape. She has a slim face, as stated before, with a defined jawline and cheekbones, which are high. Her eyes are slightly sunken into her face, and because of this, she in a way looks as though she was dead and brought back to life. Her eyes are always tired looking, droopy and long. The shape of them is almond, slightly more rounder on the top and are a brilliant hazel color, appearing slightly green rather than brown. Her nose is narrow with a slight slope, coming to a rounded point. Below that are her lips, which are full and plump and are rosy pink in color.

Blair has a full head of hair, which is a dark raven black (dyed, she's originally blonde, hence why her eyebrows are so light) and is thick. Her hair is normally in two braids, but when it is down, it has a slight wave to it, slightly curly if you will. The texture is hard to describe as it sorta does its own thing, but she likes to part it down the middle when it is down. It reaches below her shoulder blades when it is let down, and she normally just let it does as it pleases. Already stated, she puts it in two braids that are rather loose so she's not pulling on her scalp. Sometimes she may put it into a low bun or something of the sort.

Blair's outfits consist mainly of more masculine clothes, but she also likes to keep around some feminine aspects to her closet. For example, while she wears things that would definitely be worn by a dude, she likes to wear some sort of jewelry that makes it known that she's not entirely into everything that a man would be. She prefers to keep her closet to more neutral colors, mainly blacks, grays, and sometimes blues and greens.

Shape Shift appearance:
Because of her situation of being a Half-Breed, Blair has inherited a wolf form. Her wolf form stands at roughly twenty-two inches, and is made up of dark browns and grays.

Blair has a rather softer voice with a slight rasp to it. Especially late at night or in early mornings, this rasp is more prominent. When yelling, the rasp is more apparent and her voice may break slightly.

She has no filter either, making it very easy for her to simply piss others off. However, that is not her job - she is not there to please anyone. Matter of fact, she doesn't want to please anyone. She's the sort of person to say that if your feelings get hurt, that's on you, not because of something she might've said. She doesn't try to relax or tone it down when around others who may get offended. If you don't like her, so be it. On the other hand, she has a comment for just about anything. She likes to narrate things for no reason, and even if her input isn't needed, you bet you're going to get it anyway. She isn't the type to really listen either when someone tells her to knock her shit off, but she does understand that there is a time and place for it. However, she doesn't stop unless absolutely need-be. Why? Because she could care less about what others think of her.

This young woman is a very sociable creature - as any other human that has ever walked the planet. But some may consider her to be a tad too social. She's the sort of person to order for you at a restaurant even if you didn't ask her to. She's rather obnoxious as well, seeing as though that she's naturally loud and just has the tendency to never stop talking unless someone makes her. As stated before, she has a comment for just about anything, and it doesn't stop there. She likes to ask questions when needed and is always easy to approach when it comes to someone coming up to her if they need to talk. However, when talking to her, don't expect her to not interrupt - that's literally all she does. As an extrovert, she doesn't need a lot of time alone and actually enjoys social settings. She's really also not afraid of risk because of this, making her slightly reckless but she's adventerous nonetheless.

As if you couldn't tell, this woman is slightly obnoxious. Although not necessarily over-the-top, she's loud. She likes yelling for no reason. But this does explain why she really has no filter. She's apathetic for what others around her think, and is willing to do something stupid in front of a group of people for the amusement of herself. Perhaps it's because she's an andrenaline junkie, but regardless, this woman really has no limits. She's always looking for something to do, and part of being obnoxious makes her always be on the move. She doesn't like boredom and prefers to have something to do. That being said, she's slightly aggressive in an optimistic way. Her aggression is not there to purposefully offend, but uh, it does regardless.

As if you haven't picked up already, this woman is rude. She defines the word. From her harsh comments to her cold stares, she has literally no manners whatsoever. Her sarcasm and witty jokes speaks a thousand words for her and can immediately change the mood of a room in an instant.
