Appearance:
Named for her coat Ash is an all black wolf with shining blue eyes. From the tip of her nose to the end of her tail and all in between she is all jet black and blends right in with any shadow she stands next to. Her paw-pads, inner ears, nose and eye edges are also pitch black.
Her fur is very big and thick, making it good in the winter but not as good in the summer. It is very big and thick, sometimes knoting and snagging on passing branches. It is almost always twisty and tangely, not often being soft and straight.
Size:
Ash is very big for a timber wolf, she is almost 7 feet from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail. At the hight of her shoulder she is almost 3 feet tall. She is also 130 pounds, which is heavy for both a timber wolf and a female.
Personality:
Before Ash, Delta and Sandstorm got lost in the forest Ash was a kind and caring mother, always loving everyone. After she came back she was changed, she is more reserved and less talkative.
More often than not she stays by herself and doens't talk to anyone. She likes to watch the pups and other wolves playing though rarely joining in with them anymore. It makes her happy to see her pups having fun with the others. The other wolves, especially Artemis, take really good care of her pups since she left.
She feels sort of like she is not needed anymore, and therefor doesn't intervein in things she isn't invited to. The pups are competely fine playing with the other mothers and pups without her. They got used to being without her, and adopted new mothers and fathers almost.
Her greif for Amaruq has also grown over time. After she left and came back, she hadn't see him. Assuming he died or got lost while she was in the forest, she started to grieve for him and become even more solitary. She is always missing him and imagining him right there, sitting with her in the grass. Every now and then when she feels him strongly she will break down crying in a meadow or field.
So over time she has become more and more solitary, believing that no one needs her and consumed by her grief, she spends less time around her pack. When she goes off alone and no one wonders where she is she gets more and more lonely and sad, believing that the pack is better off without her.
Strengths:
Fighting - Ash is very big and is a good warrior when she needs to be.
Cold - Ash loves the cold and can stand very cold temperatures.
Tracking - Ash is an amazing tracker and loves to hunt when she can.
Weaknesses:
Running - Ash is very big and heavy and isn't the best runner.
Heat - With her big coat of fur Ash gets overheated very quickly.
Memories - The memories of her mate and former pups sometimes haunt her sleep.
