Chikelu is a very good friend of his, and Khaegal trusts him and his abilities, with some help from his fabulous Second in Command, of course. He knows things will be hard, but they've been stubborn in all the bad situations so far, and he intends to keep being stubborn and keep surviving now, and he intends to do it with Chikelu at the helm and Khaegal at his side.

Khaegal, although not massive, isn't a small male. Given that males are generally shorter and stockier than females, he likes to think he's average, or maybe even just a slight bit taller, standing at 26 inches at the shoulder. His weight fluctuates depending on the kills they've had recently, but generally stays around low-mid 70's on average, on the heavier side for their species, muscular build attesting to that.
Khaegal's coat is a mostly a mixture of tan and black, with his head being almost completely ran, except for his muzzle, and circles of black littering the rest of his body. There's smatterings of white on his right side, primarily on his legs, with more on his left, chest and the end of his tail. His fur is rather thick most of the year, evident particularly around his throat and underbelly.
