new beginnings arise.

a semi-lit to literate wolf / dog pack roleplay

it seems so long ago now, that fated day. fire rained down from the sky like hail- destroying the human settlements and burning down forests. in their vengeful wake, the flames left behind just enough for life to bloom once more- and so it did. plants and animals reclaimed the former cities, the vegetation breaking down buildings and crumbling the cement paths. everything was returned to it's former glory- everything had it's place.. except the dogs. .

without their humans, what was their purpose? it had been so long, the poor creatures didn't know how to hunt or survive. seeing their struggle, a dominanting pack of wolves took pity on the sorrowful mutts- letting them join their ranks as lowly juveniles. this upset many of the elders and traditional wolves in the pack, who began displaying their aggression towards the dogs through fights and.. worse. eventually, the alpha exiled them from the forest. these wolves would relocate to the abandoned city, forming their own pack with a vow of revenge. .

☾ Character Creation Rules

1.] follow all of eve's rules for roleplay & character creation.

2.] character must be a dog, wolf, or wolf-dog.

3.] only wolves are allowed in midnight pack.

4.] look at the template example before filling out your own!

5.] no unnatural fur colors / patterns [ex: white wolf with pink polka dots]

6.] don't inaccurately represent mental/physical illnesses/disabilies

7.] please put your favorite color in "other" on the sign-up form so i know you read through this

8.] don't power-play, or create a mary/gary sue!

9.] everyone is allowed 4 OC's in the roleplay, they can be in any pack!

10.] you can have up to 2 high ranks, but they must be in different packs and be different ranks!

11.] you may reserve a rank only for one day [24 hours]!

12.] our minimum post requirement for roleplay will be 6 sentences!! though i'd prefer if you match the length of whoever you're replying to.

Appearance:

corvid is a regal, pristine creature in appearance. her sleek fur is midnight black, somehow darker around her face, legs and tail. such fur seems to shine in the sunlight; similar to a beetle's shell or a raven's wing. she weighs around 100lbs, agile and dainty in her movements. corvid fights as if she's dancing, elegantly circling around her opponent- overwhelming them. two white lines of fur accentuate her under eyes, making her inky optics appear even darker. tiny speckles of faint white dot her back and face, though are barely noticable to the naked eye. her frame is lithe, her fluffy pelt nearly a mane around her neck. corvid's tail is nearly long enough to brush the ground, feathered in silky midnight fur.

Personality:

corvid is perceived as the pack's rose; a beautiful femme who seems to never express a single worry or sorrow. however- with a short temper ready to explode at any moment, corvid can be quite destructive at times. she's known as elusive and horribly dangerous, inexplicably wise for a canine so young. inside, corvid isn't as strong as she may appear. she's cold, distant, riddled with anxiety. she's filled with regrets, guilt and grief. however, she puts on a brave face for her pack and acts as if they will prevail.

despite being seen as a morose she-devil, corvid is quite the hopeless romantic. she believes romance will impede on her role as alpha- yet craves for something deeper. she gets stuck on the little things in life, such as the way the trees flow in the mid-summer breeze; or how the pristine snow so perfectly blankets the earth in winter. corvid finds beauty in everything, though also struggles to see flaws.

pups fall under the "juvenile" rank! so any wolf under 2yrs old would be considered a juvenile in this RP

Appearance:

desolate is a massive, cool-toned brown wolf weighing about 145lbs. various darker shades of brown blanket his shoulders and back- as well as mask his face. fur of a neutral cream tone colors his underbelly, paws, and chin. his eyes are an intense shade of golden yellow, often narrow and stoic. he stands at about 38in tall, and is about 6ft long from nose to tail-tip. desolate's fur is long and thick, a mane around his neck and chest area. his ears are tall and wide, tattered from numerous battles.

Personality:

desolate is known for being the grumpy, mysterious type. he often keeps to himself, and rarely associates with pack dwellings. instead, the brute puts his energy into his craft; plants. he craves new knowledge, and because of this finds the average wolf mundane. desolate doesn't typically entertain small talk- as he's much rather discuss deep topics and past traumas lived. he tends to ask strange, personal questions and can be a tad intimidating to most. however, he is an incredible herbalist and truly "cares" about each and every wolf in his pack's wellbeing- in his own special way.

because of his lonersome qualities, desolate has a difficult time forming bonds with others and tends to be quite morose and lonely. he often reminds himself that he doesn't need others- he was a loner for half his life anyways! despite all this, des is an intelligent, unique individual who comes off as a bit morbid at times.
