Michael's ears perked up when she said that it might have been a human. Instantly his mind went into the worst case scenario... if they had to leave, then it wasn't going to be an easy journey. Where was the pack going to relocate to? There was a lot of forest in America, but that didn't mean it would be easy to find a quiet place to relocate. "Should we just make a break for it and try to outrun them? I'm sure we can beat them with speed." He whispered to her, preparing himself to run if she was up for it.

Olivia whispered "Yes, lets try to outrun them." She was more worried about what was going to happen to the pack. She knew that pack would be worried if they had to move. Olivia was worried about how Judy was going to react. Olivia was ready to run as she wanted to make sure that no one followed them to the pack. Olivia look at Michael as she was waiting. Judy was waiting for Michael to return as she was thinking about something. Judy had been resting as she was very tried. Judy was laying in bed as she feeling tried.

Michael nodded and took a deep breath before taking off, running an alternate path to not lead whatever was tailing them straight to the pack, but even though he tried to run, a gunshot ripped through the silence of the forest and struck Michael's left shoulder. He instantly let out a growl of anger and pain and turned to see where it came from, but a second shot ripped out in their direction and he knew that it was time to go. "Let's move!" He said to Olivia, moving with all haste and trying his absolute best to ignore the pain radiating from the bullet wound. This was really bad; a gunshot meant a gun, and a gun meant a human, instantly comfirming to him that the worst case scenario is happening now. I can't believe this is happening right now! Judy's three months pregnant with our first child, and Olivia and I may have just revealed our secret to the outside world!

Olivia heard him and began to run faster as she was worried about him since he was shot. Olivia knew this was bad since humans were going to know about the pack but part of her was hoping that the humans would not follow. Olivia knew that the pack would have to leave due to humans knowing about the werewolves. Olivia thought *please don't let the human follow us. I know Judy will be sad if we have to move. She loves it here.* she was trying to think of something else as she kept running. Olivia was waiting to see which path that they were going to take as there was the long way to get to the pack and there was a shorter way to get to the pack.

Thank goodness I didn't get shot in the leg. Michael thanked his lucky stars as he continued to run through the forest, trying to take every detour that he could think of in the moment to drag out the pursuit and make sure that whoever was chasing them wasn't able to tail them all the way back to the pack home. He turned his head to make sure that Olivia was still following him before beginning the trek back to their home. He felt confident that they lost them, and now it was time to head home and lie low, hoping that they lost whoever was there.

Olivia kept running as she still worried that the human would find the pack but the pack usually stayed in their houses until a human is gone or they turn the human into a werewolf. Olivia look at Michael as she was not sure if the pack went inside their homes or not. She knew that Judy could not shift into her werewolf form due to being pregnant. Olivia thought *Please let the human be lost. I don't want Alexandra to change another human to a werewolf.* her heart was racing. Olivia knew that they would have to be careful due to hunters and other humans that go into the forest. Olivia kept following Michael as she could not go back to the pack yet.

Michael continued making his way back to the pack, now sure that they lost whoever shot him. Damn this hurts... I need to get back to the pack now and have my wound dressed up before it can get worse. He slightly picked up the pace and continued to run, finally making it home. He slowed down and before walking into his house to tell Judy what was going on, he turned to Olivia and said "Don't worry about me; I have some stuff in my house to clean up the wound. Just worry about the pack." With that, he slipped into his house and quickly went to the bathroom to begin cleaning the wound.

Olivia was happy that they made it back to the house. She listened to Michael and said "ok." She understood as she went to the pack members to check on them. Judy heard something and she saw Michael but she said nothing. She saw that he was injured and that made her worry a little bit since he was her husband and mate. Judy began to rub her stomach as she was trying to stop worrying as she knew that Michael would be ok or at least she hope that he would be. Judy began to feel relax now as she was waiting to see him again. Judy was feeling a little tried but she wanted to stay awake to talk to Michael.

Michael spent the next few minutes digging out the bullet and dressing the wound. Thankfully his werewolf form did offer some sort of natural resistance against the bullet and it didn't drive too deep into his body, making it easy to remove and clean up. Michael carefully wrapped up the wound with gauze before walking back out to Judy and sitting beside her, giving her a kiss on the forehead to try to calm her down. "Sorry about that... Olivia and I were on a hunting trip and a human spotted us and well..." He showed off the bandages. "In any case, we're both fine and we made sure that we lost him before we came back. How are you and the baby doing?" He placed a hand softly on her belly, not giving at all and being clear that it was all baby underneath.

Judy said "well the baby is fine. Mostly took my energy and I slept for some. The pack thinks we might be having twins but I am not sure. I am glad that you and Olivia are back." She look at him as she was happy that they were home. She was hoping that humans could not find the pack since the pack was hidden in some of the woods. Judy kissed his cheek and said "I am sorry that the human shot you." She felt bad that he got injured. Judy was also hoping that they were going to be able to have twins but part of her was scared.
