(I just wanted to apologize for not posting. I've been very stressed and busy.) Stripe sighed, she knew he was right. She should probably be resting, "Alright, Boa." Stripe limped back over to Jeraboa. She licked Jeraboa's nose before lying down. "Good luck!" Stripe stayed put while waiting for Jeraboa to return. (Do you wanna time skip? I have an idea to help maybe build Stripe's, and potentially Jeraboa's, characters.)

Jeraboa smiles and licksthe top of Stipes head before padding out of their small clearing. The scent of the rabbit is strong. He follows it for a while. Then picks up the pace and slowly catch up. As healer, Boa has no experiance hunting, but is still able to get it. After an embaresingly large amount of trys. He turns to walk back, his prise in his mouth.

(Sorry it's short) Stripe patiently waits for Jeraboa. As she waits, she starts to wonder about something—something from her past—her old mate. The last time she knew, he was a lone wolf again. She didn't care much about him but still couldn't help but wonder "What has he been doing in the past year? Is he still in the area?" Questions like this kept popping into her head.

Jeraboa walked to the clearing. "Hey Stripe. We should probably get moving again. As much as I don't want to, our old pack probably want us very far away." He says as he offers his kill to her. He steps backwards, trips on a rock, and lands on his rump. "Oops." He laughs it off. His laugh matches his voice, slightly on the squeaky side, yet full of emotion. "Please pretend you didn't see that." Edited at January 15, 2025 02:49 PM by Bobcat

Stripe stood up when Jeraboa returned with the fresh kill. As he offered it to her, she looked at him with a smile. "Thank you, Boa..." She ate half before looking up again. You can have to rest if you want it." Stretching as she spoke, when Jeraboa tripped, Stripe couldn't help but chuckle a little. "Alright, I won't." (I was thinking we could time-skip in a post or two if you don't have any major ideas.)

(I don't have anything) - Jeraboa stoop and walked to the meat. He finished it off in a few hungry bites. He turned and said. "What direction do you want to go? I've never been out this far. So I don't know which way is best."

Stripe briefly sniffed around, "Let's just keep going away from the territory." She started walking in a direction that was opposite to their former pack's territory. 4 Weeks Later Stripe was getting some fresh kill, Jeraboa wasn't with her at that time. Suddenly she heard a rustle in the bushes and caught a familiar smell... One she hadn't smelled in a while. A lone male wolf, whose coat was a mixture of red, brown, and tan, stepped out of the shrubbery. Surprise and anger filled Stripe's face as she quickly realized that this wasn't just any lone wolf. This was her former mate, Azar. (By the way, Azar is a character you can control as well. He looks like this)

Jerboa was herb hunting when he heard Stripe's growl. She was hunting, so he though she was growling at a phesant or something. But instict told him otherwise. He hid the colected herbs under a cool, drk fallen tree and turned to where he heard her. She was his pack now. No one will hurt her. He smelt a loner. They have a distinct sent. Slighlty sour. "Stripe, are you good?" He asked as he burst though the bushes on the oppisite side of the clearing. Threat. He will hurt her. But he kept those thoughts to himself. But he layed his ears back any way. He raised his tail straight up, showing he was not afraid, but the stranger should be. The stranger looked surprised. Good. Jeraboa held his leg tight under his belly.

Stripe looked at Jeraboa, "It's fine..." Her voice trailed off slightly as she looked at Azar again. Azar didn't appreciate the aggressiveness from either of them. He mainly ignored it though, "Heh... Well, well, well. If it isn't Stripe." He walked in a circle around Stripe. "How have you been, love?" Azar moved to rest his head on Stripe's shoulder as he spoke. She immediately stepped back, "I've been just fine! Why are you here?" She asked.

Jeraboa limped up to stand next to Stripe. "Hold on, is this the father of your pups? Because one of them look to disturbingly like this weirdo." He woofed, hackles still raised. "Wait a minute. Pups? And one looks like me? Can I see them? Do they know who their father is? A strong handsome loner like me." A,AR says, smirking with pride, and downright looking like an idiot.
