He tried to protest and defend the coyotes, but the wolf was already gone. He growled. But he had to behave. However, he would definitely enjoy killing this wolf. Maybe not so much though if it would help his paw feel better.

After a while, Truffle dug out a few useful herbs. "Eat these." He ordered, pawing them to the wolf. "And really, give me a name. Something to call you, if you don't wanna tell me your real one." Truffle asked.

"Fine. Call me alpha, little omega." He said, lapping up the herbs quickly. He immediately felt better, and gave a half purr of satisfaction.

"First off, I'm no omega. Second, you're no alpha. Third, I am almost bigger than you." Truffle exclaims. He sits down and curls his tail around his paws, his pink eyes watching the strange wolf.

"Key word, almost." He said, smacking the wolf on the tip of his nose with his good paw. He sat up, yawning to show long white teeth.

"And Almost means I'm relatively the same size as you." Truffle growled, though this time it was almost a laugh instead of a show of anger. He stood up and looked outside. "Im gonna call you rock if you don't give me a proper name for you." He stated.

"If you call me rock, I'll call you worm. Fine. Call me... Sparrow." His whiskers twitched as he wondered if he could still call the other wolf worm.
