Ooop. The mind reading thing. I don't mind, whatever you decide is good! I tell him.

I walk over to one of the stands and order. I look down a tLyka as I hand the cashier money and take the hot dogs. I walk until we are farther away from the crowd and sit down. "ts okay, you cna shift now. Nobody can see us here. They are all where the music is."

"Alright," I say, shifting. I feel surprisingly comfortable with Pierce. I wonder why? He's very nice, but I'm normally not that good with strangers.

I feel my wolf ears come back. I see Lyka sudying me, and shrug. "they do that. I let them. But it bothers most people." I let my senses drift to the forest beyond.

"Same for me. I just had to learn to control it. But if I have any really extreme emotions they come right back." It's true. If I'm scared, angry, sad... the ears and tail come back. Usually fangs too.

"So," I take a bite of my hot dog. "Do you live near here, or just wandering? I wander wherever the other animals are. Sometimes wolf packs let my live with them while other scratch me up."

"I'm a lone wolf, usually. Just wandering. Recently I found this weird school in the middle of no where. I've been living there. It's very interesting. I've even seen dragons flying around there." Also a unicorn teacher, and many things that look like they were made by people with powers.

"Hm. Where is it? Not that I want to go there. I like living in he nature, with the animals and stuff. But, on the other hand, its really dangerous out there, in the forests and mountians." I stop talking, remembering the beast tha killed my family.

I agree with him. It's nice in nature, and my suspicion of everything would be hard with new people, but, "I'll show you." I say, finishing my hot dog and shifting to a kestrel.

"Okay," I take the last bite of my hot dog and shift to a sparrow. "Where is it?" I ask as I fly around in circles.
