Todd - 3yrs - 3rd person
_
Todd got back to the den and his trot slowed into a walk. He smelt someone. Something. His head swiveled back to the unknowingly female. She knew to wait, so Todd went through the clearing.
His eyes narrowed with concern. A large male. Bigger then Todd.
His breathing hitched, he saw Night by the den, no sign of over stressing. He crept closely to the male, body low and keeping close to the ground. The male spotted raised his head in suspicion, turning around and when his orbs landed on the feisty younger one. Todd lunged, feet out infront of him he landed on the males body, pushing him to the ground, standing ontop of him.
Snapping his jaws at Todd he got a good chunk of feathers, but Todd had learned from his mistake, his shoulder throbbing with all the intense movements.
Todd got off of the male, giving him time to just get to his feet, before pushing him with all Todd's might back down. The male slid across the dirt and stopped when his back hit a tree a dew metres away. The rain had started, fog settling in once again. It was dark, cold and now soggy.
Todd's eyes fixated on the white, now muddy and dirty male's body. White puffs of hid warm breath huffing angrily out of him. He walked over to this male, he was struggling to get up. He had to be careful, he was using energy to early on. The male lunged on, grabbing a hold of Todd's neck, growls, screams and rabid biting could be heard as both of them rolled on the floor, fighting with everythibg they had. Blood was brcoming visible in the mangled mess. Not really able to tell them apart other then the black and grey flashes of skin from Todd. Flicking up dirt, the male got to his feet, standing above Todd with feirce might in his chest, opening his mouth and poiting down, Todd raised his behind and smacked the male hard on the side of his head with his tail. Both falling back to the ground. Todd scrambled back to his feet, red liquid dripping from the base of his neck and mouth. His feet a muddy red, shaking what he could off. A defeaning, disgusting and threatening scream escaped Todd as he raised his arms out, curling his lips back. The male only returned this gesture, claw marks down his side from Todd's attempts at pushing him away.
They circled eachother, tail thrashing, unwavering dominance and lots of determination to be chosen.
The male stopped, so did Todd, only confusion in his eyes.
"How old are you."
The male asked.
"Im.. 3."
Todd was honest, unsure of why it was so important.
"Young. You fight like hell."
He snorted, lowering his head, a smile of sorts spreading across his lips.
"Whats your point."
"My point is.. your strong. Not enough though."
Todd wipped his head as he heard rapidly approaching footsteps, his heart pounding in his chest. A red, grey and black male lunged like Todd, did, feet out and mouth open. He was now outnumbered, he would have been able to see the red male concidering how heavy it was beginning to pour down. Todd felt both claws and two sets of razor teeth begin to rip into the top of his snout and his ribs. He tried to get up, he really did, his gaze shot to Night then he closed his eyes.
His struggles got the male off and they both stepped back, heaving with lack of oxygen, Todd was laying down, small gasps and his body was physically giving out on him slowly. With the last bit of strength he had left he stood infront of the cave and den, limp in stance.
He was not gonna let this opportunity go. He was not prepared in any shape or form, but he was very desperate to keep this good thing going.
The blood wafted through the Yutyrannus Todd had brought back. Her name was Blizzard. Bliss for short. She crept in behind the largest male. Her dark coat blending in with the surrounding dark forest. She let out a death defying scream. Both males jolted in fear but her massive size appeared behind them, white eyes glowing and mouth open, teeth taking the largest male by force. As quickly as she emerged she dissapeared, hungry and she took her chance to feed and help her friend in a time of need. The red male took of running away from whatever took his friend, alarming calls ringing through the forest.
Todd took a deep breath, a sigh escaping him.
