Kelio nods, humming softly to herself. "I'm not tired. I quite enjoy this time of night, the midnight air." She trails off, looking up at the sky again, fixing her coat. "I can teach you have to use the stars to track which direction you're going," The doe sits down in a lush patch of thicker grass, laying back to get a better view of the sky. The view from here was quite great; trees lined one side and buildings had since trailed off on the other. The moon was bright and the stars spot all over the sky, some brighter than others, some barely a flickering light against the deep black of the sky. .. Kelio sighs, content. She smiles, but is quite pleased not to be alone with time. "This quite is a lot better with someone to talk too. I've gotten too used to being alone." With a murmured few words at the end, she shakes off the lower mood and goes back to her intent watch on the sky. |

He too was now focused on looking up he barely noticed her humming. Only when he heard her plop into the grass did he turn to see her lay down in it. "Oh yeah, it's certainly more refreshing then high noon under the summer sun that's for sure." He smiled and tilted his head off to the side. "Honestly I don't particularly care what direction I... WE, go. As long as it isn't back." He flopped all the way into the grass. "But if you think it's worth me knowing then I'll learn it." Looking up he saw clusters big and small of the stars. None made any sense to him other then just being... well... stars. The winter constellations where not visible as it wasn't winter, so Orion and the dippers weren't out. The only Astral body that held significance to him was the moon. Bright on this cloudless night. In the distance cicadas and cricket chirped and in the tall grasses near by he could see some fireflies out and about. It was a pleasant change then what he had back in the town. . Hearing her sigh he goes from looking up into the black void to her. "If you don't mind my asking, why did you do this alone for so long. Isn't there dangers and whatnot traveling like this. And just being alone doing this would be lonely." Hoping he didn't strike a nerve he looks away and goes back to looking up. |

After explaining everything they'd possibly need to know about the stars and how to use them, she just sits there and relaxes for a moment. The question caught her rather off guard; it was something that she didnt expect to have to answer. "Well, to be honest, I'm not sure. I thought it was easier that way, and frankly, it was; I didnt have to drag someone along who didnt want to be there. Plus, it's nice to travel alone sometimes." Kelio shrugs. "Anyhow, do you want to get going now, or wait until the first light?" .. She didnt want to assume, it was better to ask. Right now wasnt the time to get into any sort of arguments. That could wait. .. "If you're well-rested enough, it might be easier to leave now and not dawdle here. Especially incase anyone comes looking. You never know." Kelio trails off once more, patiently waiting for an answer. |

He listened intently to her instructions and watched how she enthusiastically explained it. "I'm sure it was lonely at times, even if it occasionally was easier." He took notice of how she described it. Drag. It sounded like she had done it before but he didn't want to press her about it. "It would be more efficient to travel as far as possible and not wast time just sitting and not even sleeping." He concluded standing up. "And your right, my mom would have sent people to look for me as soon as she finds out her only paycheck is missing." He sighed, hating his home with a passion and knowing he wasn't far enough away. |
