Lewis was shocked. First the offer of a new book. And now the West Lee was invites boring old Lewis to sit down. It was absolutely insane. Crazy. He blinked his eyes rapidly. "Um, um oh. Um. Wow. Okay, that's a lot. Uh, thank you. I'd love to read your first book. I promise I'll keep it safe, and I'll be back in a second. Have to grab my book." Lewis also needed to gather himself. So Lewis walked over to his chair and grabbed his stuff. Not because he thought he'd be allowed to stay with West for long, but because he didn't want people to touch his stuff. He went back over to West and sat down with rose tinted cheeks. It was like one long section of blush on his face. It went from one ear to the other and crossed her cheeks and nose. |

West was, as always, almost oblivious to everything. The almost is where is got awkward for everyone but him, as West has no social sense. "You are red in the face," He commented, leaning back in the booth, letting his drink cool for a moment, "Are you coming down with something after being in the rain?" It was concerning, really. Sickness was nothing to take lightly. |

Lewis looked up when spoken to, confusion on his face. Did he look that bad? He had thought he'd looked relatively decent but he must look like a mess plus he was red everywhere and he knew it. So apparently he looked like the living dead, which was great. "Oh- um no. I don't think so." Lewis really felt great about himself now. He must look absolutely dreadful. |

"That is good. Perhaps some hot soup would be helpful, though," without waiting for Lewis's response, West continued on, "I'll purchase it. Also, let me put my contact in your phone, so we can figure out a time that I can give you to book." |

Lewis didn't know exactly what to say. He was just dumbfounded. No one was ever so nice to him, they always thought he was weird or crazy though the latter might be debatable His cheeks turned from the pinkish color to a deeper, almost red color. "Oh that really isn't necessary. You don't have to. I don't want you spending your money on me." Lewis looked rather concerned. He didn't like it when people knew he was right on money, or tried to help him with it. It made him feel like they pitied him and he didn't want pity. He needed a better job. "And um, yea here you go." Lewis took out his phone, sliding it over to West. Wait, was he really getting one of his idols numbers? Was this really happening? |

West typed in his number, and handed the phone back over to Lewis, all while speaking, "Nah. I come here everyday, and spend the wntire day here. I get a good deal, and let me call it a thank you. For inspiring me to write more." West offered to pay, not because Lewis was short on money, but because he was also comfortable with his living, and the food wasn't that expensive. |

Lewis' eyes widened and finally, he just nodded. Gently taking his phone back and stuffing it into his pocket. "Well um, I mean. I guess. I just didn't want you to waste your money on me. But if you really want to then thanks I guess." Lewis cringed internally, he was so horribly awkward and stupid. |

West hummed, "What would you like?" Lewis's internal struggle didn't bother West, as he didn't even realize it what was happening. West's oblivion kept him from being awkward, so he continued on, "And it's not wasting if you really want to - which I do." |

Lewis looked rather unsure but spoke anyways. "Well if that's the case," he shifted around uncomfortably in his seat, "then tomato soup sounds great." Lewis tried for a smile but he was just to nervous to do it correctly, so it turned out to be more of a half smile. It looked odd and Lewis turned a bit pinker due to his deep embarrassment. |

West didn't notice. He ordered two tomato soups, because that sounded really good and he wanted one, along with a chocolate croissant. Once ordering was done, West turned to Lewis, and smiled, "What sort of books have you read?" |
