Jason was completely beating Addilyn in the healthy department. It was almost pathetic how healthy he was compared to her. Addilyn didn't even like spinach. It was actually a demon disguised as a disgusting green leaf that everyone calls 'healthy.' Yea no. Addilyn liked burgers and tacos and tons of unhealthy foods. The question caught Addilyn off-guard. She'd never thought of her favorite animals before, mostly because she didn't like having a favorite animal. Otters were amazing, dolphins were smart, elephants were brilliant. Addilyn's tongue poked out the side of her mouth and she frowned. She hated that little quirk if hers. It made her even more awkward than she already was. "I'm gonna have to go with a sloth." She gave no explanation. "Hmm, if you could go any place in the world for three weeks, all expenses paid. Where would you go?" Addilyn liked that question. She didn't know why. |

"Hey, hey!" Jason protested, " My favorite animal is a lemur. Any type." Jason thought about her question, "Okay, so I don't really like to travel. But if it was all expenses paid?... Probably somewhere in Australia. All of the deadly animals are so cool, and I'd like to learn how to wrestle an alligator. You?" Jason was not joking. |

Addilyn kept the smile off her face at the lemur thing. Someone as fierce looking as Jason, liking Lemurs. It was a little odd but then again she liked sloths. The wrestling alligator part was questionable and made Addilyn confused. Why would anyone want to wrestle an animal. Being entirely pro-animal made Addilyn prone to taking in random animals she found in the street and disliking anyone who even hinted they didn't like animals. So Jason was now at an iffy point instead of the good side. "Greenland, it's so beautiful there and wild. Better than the dull downtown streets here." Her green eyes turned bright at the mention of Greenland. |

"Yeah. That might be fun... Really, anything other than this crappy concrete prison is nice." Jason set down his now empty cup, pulling the straw out and wiping it off, then folding it up to put into a little case. Yep. Jason used a reusable metal straw. Really, most things he used were environmentally safe. The cups here were also a paper type, so it could be safely disposed. "So," He said, as if all of that was completely normal, "What do you think of this place?" |

Addilyn has never used a straw after seeing a sea turtle die when on vacation. Because of a straw. Addilyn warily watched Jason's metal straw. Not confused, if anything she seemed pleased by this discovery. Doing her best to hide a tiny smile. It was nice that Jason somewhat seemed to care about the animals. "It's nice, I might actually go somewhere other than the overpriced smoothie place next to my house. These here are much better. Thanks for introducing me to this place." She smiled lightly, as she always did when grateful. |

"Awesome!" Jason exclaimed, putting the straw case in his back pocket, "Yeah, the prices and food are great here - this is one of the few places I go out to eat at. I prefer to cook my own food." (jason will be the mans you need) |

Addilyn could not relate. Last time she'd tried to cook she had actually burnt down half her kitchen. Over brownies. Pre-made brownies. Addilyn was a horrible cook, cold pizza was her best friend. Or fast food. Or the smoothie place next door. She really couldn't cook. "I can't cook very well. I'm really bad at it actually. No one ever taught me really and even when I try I tend to burn things down. Like, whole kitchens. I'm really good at ordering fast food though. I doubt that it's better than actual homemade food though." Addilyn looked slightly embarrassed by this admission. Her ears turning a light pink. |

Jason just grinned wider, "I should cook for you sometime!" He exclaimed, "I can make anything you like, really. Back when I used to live out in the country, I had my own garden and orchard for fresh produce." |

Addilyn's eyes widened, green orbs filled with awe. "You lived out in the country? And had a garden? And things were green? You're so lucky! And it would be an honor for you to cook for me. I haven't had real food in a very long time. I don't even use my kitchen." She seemed so shocked that Jason had lived somewhere other than the city. So few places didn't have big tall buildings anymore. He was so lucky! |

Jason nodded, a wistful look entering his face, "Yeah... I grew up there. Sadly, the government forced me to sell the land to them, so they could begin building a new city." He could still remember that house... "Can I have your number?" Jason asked, quickly added, "So we can plan a meet up again." |
