Rowan held her sword tight, but not because she was training. No. She held tight because someone was in pain. With no idea what to do or where it came from, Rowan ran towards the direction of the sound, her heroic heart kicking in. |

Of course, the medics place was high in the tree tops. Alvaro, leaving relatively close to it, was the first there. A few faeries peeked out of their homes in horro at the screams that drifted out of the treehouse. As Alvaro touched the floor in the medic, he watched as two things simultaneously. A manticore busted in through the window, and the boy he had found leapt into Alvaro. The screams had come from a now dead faerie, the woman splayed across the floor and her face was filled with terror. Alvaro was armed in seconds but had already sent a huge torpedo of raw energy to the unsuspecting creature. It was his power. His true power. It was why Alvaro could be a dangerous enemy to keep. Within seconds Alvaro had killed the creature with his brilliant sword. Panthing heavily. The little boy stared at him, wide eyed with shock. |

Based on the sounds, Rowan could guess some monster had broken into a home. And although tree climbing was great, Rowan also did not want to risk falling from that height, or being cut down by someone who thought she was a threat. So instead, Rowan stood at the bottom in a contained panic.

Alvaro wobbled on his feet and took in deep trembling breaths. Sheathing his sword, his gaze finally fell on the terrified child. The boy was shivering and was looking wide eyed at everything. "Where am I? Where are my parents? What are you?" Despite the boy's childish features, he had this hard look to him. Like he was ready to kill Alvaro if needed. His injury already looked better. But the trauma was obviously bad. "You're in a faerie village, I'm a faerie." He chose not to answer the parents question, how could he? This was just a human, humans were fragile. Alvaro needed another human to comfort this child. That's when Clem swooped in and he sent her back out. Telling her to go find someone to get Rowan up here. |

Rowan paced at the base of the tree, her sword sheathed in her hand. "Stupid faeries..." She grumbled, "..putting their stupid houses up in tall trees..." |

Clem has grabbed one of Rowan's guards from last night. One of the men since they could easily carry her. They found Rowan pacing at the bottom of the tree. "Alvaro has requested your presence up there, is that okay?" The guard looked uncomfortable, obviously not used to getting instructions from a bird. |

Rowan nodded, and her mind went to the worst. Her hand hovered over her sword, ready to draw it at a moments notice. |

The guard easily picked up Rowan. Flapping his wings hard to compensate for the extra weight. Alvaro had tried comforting the child but whenever he got near the boy backed up and released a soft noise of warning. Don't get too close. The guard gently dropped Rown inside as Alvaro backed away from the child. |

Rowan noticed immediately what was going on. She smiled softly at the young boy, "Hello! My name is Rowan. I'm a human, like you, young man. What's your name?" Her voice had an easygoing lit to it, and she kneeled on the ground, making herself a bit lower than eye level. |

The boy looked at Rowan with fear as she came in. Slowly it transformed into suspicion. With tentative words and a slightly shaken voice, he replied. "Neo Atlas, I've seen you around town before. Do you know what happened to my parents?" His voice wavered at the end and his eyes darkened, trying to remember something that wasn't there. |
