Hesper woke with a start, blinking the sunlight from his eyes as he startled up from the cold, stone ground.
"Where-" He mumbled, shaking the stiffness from his scales as he continued to blind hazily. Hesper's eyes scanned the small crevice sleepily for a moment before coming back to. The lightning, the fall, his wing.. speaking of, it was quite sore. He'd have to go find civilization- surely some sort of human settlement lived somewhere nearby, they'd set him right.
Knowing he'd get nothing done by sitting around in a tight crevice, Hesper shambled his way out onto the outcrop to glance around. Migratory birds flapped by overhead, singing to one another as they passed. Hesper's belly gave an upset rumble at the sight, causing him to drop his gaze to the first task at hand- food.
Hesper was quickly interrupted in his quest as he heard the sound of something (someone?) taking off, and he whipped his body around. Gliding past was none other than.. a wild dragon. Hesper gasps, tail curling defensively as he presses against the rock face, unsure if he'd been seen.
