𝔅𝔯𝔞𝔦𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔪 - Plot - Fighting extinction, dragons have recently evolved to shapeshift. For years, the human population have sought out dragons for the weapons that can be made out of them; the bones from their wings turned to bows and projectiles, their teeth for knives, their scales and inpenetrable skin for armour, and more, using nearly every part of the dragon. Apart from the slaughter, some of the humans have formed bonds with the creatures. These bonds are typically formed when the dragon/human is born and creates a draw for more. Humans started to call it the Cry of the Wild and began using it to call dragons out of hiding for slaughter. The bond between human and dragon starts as an urge for something greater, and develops as they both age. Eventually, when contact between the two is made, the bond is made permanent and their souls are linked. Emotions, thoughts, and even sensations are shared between the two, and the bond is only severed by death, which proves lethal for the dragon only. |
