Hayden grabbed his few bags, and followed Eclipse towards the house, still processing.
Since he had a technical mind, all the strange things about shapeshifters didn't make a lick of sense to him, but he assumed that Eclipse could hopefully figure that part out. He was most likely going to be a sidekick on this adventure, and he didn't mind that. It would be fun to hang out and reconnect with his childhood friend, and then he could go home, and life would go back to normal. He'd have college classes, his house to run, the cat to deal with.
He tossed his suitcase into a bedroom, and came out of the door too fast, smacking into Eclipse.
"I'm so sorry. Apparently, I can't stay on my own two feet for more than 24 hours."
Thankfully, since the rooms were down a hallway, Eclipse hadn't fallen over, he'd just been shaken up a little. Hayden walked to the kitchen and looked out the window again. He absolutely adored the scenery, and wished he could paint. He would want a huge painting of the trees, that bent just a little over the path, making it look like a fairyland. He mentally smack himself. What the heck man? He wasn't usually so sappy. He brushed himself down and turned around.
