Kai sat there playing with his hands and pencil and not focusing. He then looked at inferno admiring her for a bit before turning his attention to the professor.

Inferno flushed a bit, feeling Kai's eyes on her, but she decided to ignore it and jotted down some of the notes on the board, but she couldn't help her eyes sliding toward the fire mage next to her.

Kai leaned back in his seat sighing. He wanted class to be over. He just didnt want to be at this school overall. It soon neared to the end of class and once the bell ran kai got up. He then waited for inferno to get up as well before walking out of class. They walked out and he let her go first and smiled.

Inferno was quick to stand up when the class was over, hurrying over to Kai and grabbing him by his wrist.

"We have a free period right now, so no one will miss us if we skip." She remarked.

"Okay." He said as he smirked following inferno. "What are we gonna do though?" He asked as he thought of stuff to do.

She shrugged, slowing down as she led them into a deserted hallway.

"I don't know." She admitted, leaning against the wall. "Try to find something that might lead us to the creature?"

"Uhm well, i dont want to get us killed but we could go into the wood where the last student was killed." He said as he pulled out a joint from his pocket. He smirked and looked at her.

Inferno shrugged, muttering a quiet 'sure.'

As they exited the school, she nudged Kai with her elbow, laughing as he took a hit of the blunt. "All you wanted to do was smoke, wasn't it?" She joked.

"Pretty much." He laughed a bit has he took another hit. He kept walking glancing over at inferno a lot to make sure she stook by his side.

Inferno chuckled, shaking her head, leaning over to take a hit herself.

She pulled away from the blunt, grinning humorously, laughing as she walked ahead a little.
