Hawk jolted awake. Before he opened his eyes he could already detect the source of his sudden awakening. He pryed open his tired eyes to look around to find that despite falling asleep to the sounds of the water of the river running over rocks and the leaves on the ground rustling in the wind, the sounds were gone, and it was strangely quiet. Hawk shivered from the cold as he wandered over to the entrance of his cave. He stretched his dark feathery wings out as far as he could, which happened to be about 20 feet. He looked down at his large feline paws to confirm what he had suspected. "Ah yes, the first snow of the season" Hawk muttered to himself. He was mesmerized by the sight. Although Hawk had seen snow here before, he's alway taken aback by how beautiful the maountain landscape looks in the winter.
Hawk returned to the cavern to start his day. Under his breath he whispered an incantation that he had practiced many times and he felt his wings fold into his back, his paws morph into hands and feet, and the fur disappear as magic. Hawk put on the stove to make his cup of tea, which is always a great way for an animagus to start their day.
