Illusion
Illusion caught up to Brecken and his pups.
"Hey Brecken! You did a really good job hunting."
"Thanks." Brecken looked down at his feet. "I hope Sky is okay." He mumbled. Illusion smiled.
"I'm sure she will be." He grabbed part of the elk that Brecken was carrying.
"Who got this big guy?" Illusion asked, with his mouth full of fur.
"Killjoy." Brecken responded.
"Ah. Of course." Illusion laughed. "I should have guess. He always goes for the biggest, and most of the time, he gets it done."
"Yeah. Marbled told me."
Killjoy
Killjoy walked back up the hill. He smiled as he saw His sister's mate and his puphood best friend pulling the elk that he had gotten up the hill. He laughed as Illusion lost his footing, causing him to go face first into the dirt. He trotted up to them.
"You looked like a pup." Illusion blushed. Killjoy grabbed hold of the elk.
Marbled
Marbled saw Brecken with Killjoy and Illusion. Cloudy and Tornado were walking next to them. She smiled as she picked up a lazy lope. She barked at the pups. Cloudy spun around.
"Mom!" She stood there waiting for her.
"Hey Cloudy!" She licked her face, and took Tornado from her.
"Look at what I caught!" Cloudy said, picking up the bird that Tornado had dropped. Marbled smiled, and looked at the little pup.
"Good job! Where did you find it?"
"In the forest next to a stream, it was sitting next to an old wolf."
"Oh." Marbled met Killjoy's eyes.
"Was he golden?" Killjoy asked.
"Yeah! Thats the one! He said that we was taking a nap."
"I'll go have Yahtzee find him." Killjoy said, looking at Marbled. It was his wya of saying not to go look for him. Marbled huffed and walked next to the three pulling the elk.
Sky
Sky felt pain, but saw darkness. She smiled, this was what she always saw. She had let the darkness become her friend, and she found peace in it. Most pups would fear the dark.
"Its hurts." She mumbled. She thought of her mom. What did her mom look like? What did Sky look like? She had spent many nights imagining what her mother looked like. Was she black, or brown, or a different color? Were her eyes blue like Sky's, or brown? What shade of brown were they? She sighed, and thought of Tornado. Why didn't he come out often? Cloudy had said that he had a twisted leg. What way was it twisted? She shook her head, and focused on the darkness, trying to go back into a painless sleep.
