I am one of five siblings (my dad's eldest lives with his mother). Three of us adult siblings live in the same house with our parents, and our dad's parents, as well as aformentioned BIL, Moose, and the first granchild of our lot, Matty.
I'm the only one paying rent (grandparents/parents handle morgage and bills) and have my own bachelor suite, a one room with it's own kitchenette and bathroom. My sister, brother in law, nephew, and older brother live in the finished basement (two bedrooms, large living room, seperate kitchen, sizable bathroom) and my parents/grandparents live on the main floor. Grandpa passed away last year (I think he was about 80) so it's just the parents and grandma, along with four dogs and five cats, in the main house most of the time. I love my family (for the most part, brother bullied me and our two sisters growing up and I never really found myself comfortable around him) but I am so glad to have my own space, lol

Man it could be worse. When we first moved to New Brunswick we rented a trailer.
Us three sisters in the only bedroom (no door, only just enough room for a bunk bed and a single, nothing else). My brother slept in the indent in the wall where a washer/dryer set once barely fit. My parents slept on the couch in the living room/kitchen/dining room.
We had two cats (the female had kittens that year too, so six cats) and two dogs at that point.
