It's a long, long treck to the other side of the cave, and when you arrive you sit down to rest. The owls go further in to meet the eagles, and Aster takes a break to sing a song. Can i put brown bark and rabbit in a cage for an eagle...? I make no sense. |

Austan Sure thing!
You add a rabbit to the cage, and toss in your brown bark too. Right away, a brown eagle seems more interested than the rest- she appreciates the color. She approaches and happily nestles on top of the bark, eating the rabbit and not even noticing that she's stuck in the cage. Congratulations! You have captured a cave eagle!

Austan You don't expect it to be quite so dark when you exit the cave. Quickly, although still carefully marking your trail, you return to your raft. The owls are especially awake, and take off for a night flight. Perhaps they will bring back some food for the rest of the birds. You restock your backpack and read the hunter's guide by the light of your lantern, finding the instructions easy and putting together the whistle quickly. Then you sleep for the night, remembering how lucky you are to be out on a paradise island. It's warm, but not too much so, and the small waves make a lovely sound. In the morning you see that July and Bleu have returned mice mice they caught and even a few bugs for Aster. You return to the eagle room in the cave, cave, surprisingly well rested and eager to continue.
