Perhaps theres too many moving parts? Like you have the threat of Titus, the Ukufa Males, the Females trying to establish the pride plus nomadic males trying to do whatever it is they're trying to do.

Maybe I'll open Pride of Perils. It's more simplistic in plot but still dynamic without it being overwhelming.
