on another note I've finally moved all of Cheimra's info over lmao I love backstories sm and realized super late I didn't give any info on how old the dragons are or why they came back, wHOOPS that is 100% my bad so I hope this helps heh . . TLDR: they are easily centuries old, all hatched either before or soon after the disappearance of their species. the bonds are relatively recent, and the dragons feel the pull a little more strongly currently because they're instinctual creatures & this whole thing is essentially a dormant instinct that hasn't been relevant for a long time, so they naturally know "hey, I need to find what's causing this, but I need to avoid the villages and all that because all the stories say I'll die" |

I was actually going to ask what you all would prefer! Since this is mostly driven by IC decisions and such, we could discuss things here and I could have a summary post alongside the "here's what we know" to help starters, or we could flesh it out ourselves. . . We could have a brief 2-3 pages (since there's 4 people and a page holds 10 posts)--depending on the length of each person's post--for the trio first meeting and going over the plan. After the disappearance of the dragons, due to lack of replacements, older dragon armor was kept in "museums" (for lack of better word), so they would know about where they need to be going based on the preferences of the species that weren't lost to history. This would be followed by about the same length to introduce the dragons after a brief time skip and little "here's what they found on their travels" so that there aren't dozens of posts for walking. And then this would cut to the camping scene I mentioned to get a feel for our characters. . . OR everyone could be together and we can do a short thing describing how each dragon had been found, and have the group spend the day figuring out the basics of what this means, then this fades into the camp set-up as the sun sets |
