I'm thinking about doing an adopt auction soon but I've never auctioned before nor have I participated in any auctions, so I'm not exactly sure how to go about it. I understand that you start off with a starting bid and people add on to it, sorta, but how do you get the adopt to somebody? Like, through PM's or another way?

Are you doing premade adopts - you already have the design on some F2U lines/your own lines? Or are you doing the adopts after the auction, so custom adopts?

If they're premade, you just sent them the adopt after the auction. You can PM them I suppose if they're all on the same page you can send them their individual adopt/ if they're watermarked, send them an un-watermarked version. Otherwise you don't have the pm them

. You can do so to make sure they have a copy of it, if you're taking it down from the forums and putting up a new adopt, but otherwise people just download the image. Adopts are usually just a design on a creature, sometimes they have traits or certain variations. If you're doing a whole species lines of adopts you can make a gallery to store them. It's really up to you :)
