Advice i was given by Sleepy is to meditate on it. And it helps. It really does. You get into a mindset where you're thinking of almost nothing and when you're centered, ask out loud for a sign. I went almost 4 days without a sign and decided to tarot reading because I was unsure that I wasn't making shit up. Fast forward to the next day, I end up getting a loud, extravagant sign that matches up with what the tarot spread told me about my deity. I can give more details if you want them because I know just how you feel :)

Although the sign won't be like that for everyone. Every sign is different, mine was just more visible than most. PC got little, subtle signs and it was up to him to research what they meant and arrive on a conclusion.
