Welcome to the WP Newspaper Group! Sign-Ups are always open and anyone can join. All I ask is that you're willing to put in the work to keep this newspaper going. And please be at least somewhat literate. A few mistakes don't matter to me if you're writing, since I'll be editing everything when I put it together. Please don’t misspell every other word though. This will likely affect your application, as it means putting more time and effort into rewriting / correcting mistakes.
What do we do?
So, the WPNG is mostly for fun. This is a fairly old idea now and is meant to be somewhat of a helpful tool for new members looking to learn more about the game and certain aspects of it (breeding, RPs, exploring, etc). We try to post monthly, however that doesn't always work out due to volunteers' schedules not matching up some months. What we do is choose some topics to cover this month, then go around and find credible players related to each topic to interview (Ex: if doing breeding, interview the players with some of the most popular studs at the moment). Their responses will be included in the newspaper. When we have everything, we'll format all of it and post it! . I don't have any set topics, so feel free to choose something you're comfortable with as long as it's WP-related, appropriate, and follows all game rules. |

I would like to write about player stuff. Like player giveaways/contests. Also maybe a "best litter" section or something like that. I may also be able to write something following the art market. |

Sorry for the delayed response. Sure! Those definitely sound like they would interest readers. The only thing we'd need to make sure to do is get permission from the contest / giveaway host(s) and pups' owner first. For the 'best litter', would you be okay asking the owner of the litter what their reaction was, too? |
