Red Tailed Hawk
Appearance:
RedWing is a normal looking red tailed hawk with a brown body and a rusty red tail. Her chest and the under side of her wings are white with brown spots on them. Her beak is yellow at the base and fades into black at the deadly tip. Her golden colored eyes reflect the sun and sparkle making her look even more dangorous.
RedWing is big for a red tailed hawk, she is 2.5 feet long from beak to the tip of her red tail and has a wing span of 5 feet. She is 3 pounds witch is light but good for flash attacks and darting in and out of trees. RedWing is a huge bird compared to most red tailed hawks and she is almost as big as a small bald eagle.
Personality:
RedWing is not calm or nice at all, all her life she had been living alone in the cold north and fighting for her food and her life. She was born in the north unlike most red tailed hawks and survived there until the famine came. If another bird chalenges her, no matter how big it is, she will fight it to the death, and most of the time it is the other bird who dies.
Once RedWing was a good hawk but a golden eagle(GoldBeak) had killed her father and now all she wants to do is find that eagle again and make it pay for killing her father. She keeps her talons and sharp beak at the ready whenever she sees eagles, just incase it was the one who killed her father.
Strengths:
RedWing is a big red tailed hawk, she is also strong and fast when she needs to be, she is also smart witch helps when she is battling other big birds.
Her strength can beat a eagle alone and her fast flying can out fly almost anything exept for a falcon. Her brain is also helpful when she needs to solve a problem or attack someone.
Weaknesses:
RedWing is a smart bird but sometimes her common sence doesn't catch up with her fast wings. If she is challenged for threateded she will not stop to thing about anything, not even how big or powerful the animal she is facing is. If she was challened she would dive in on a lion without stopping to think about what she was doing or who she was facing.
Another weakness is water, unlike a lot of red tailed hawks she wouldn't take a bird bath to save her life. She will fight any animal unless the battle takes place in water.
Land is also a weakness, birds are good in the air but once she is on land she is a sitting duck.
