I think for me it's be a couple of years since I've properly roleplayed with anyone, so I suppose this itch is something I've been feeling for a long time, so I shouldn't be too surprised that I feel like this. I do genuinely miss making characters and sharing in the act of making a silly little story between you and one or more people, even if it can feel a bit tedious at times ough

But that's great you and your rp partner can take breaks with each other! being able to just come back and drop a message or something must be nice, especially if you like their style and enjoy their company! ^^
