"So, what are you doing later?" Lyka asked no one in particular.

I shift to a wolf simply so I can wag my tail. "That sounds super fun!" I woof happily.

"You can't play basketball in that form that's for sure." Skylar stands up in a swift motion and turns toward his house shifting into a lion and running towards it

"I KNOW!" I snarl playfully. I chase him, feeling my muscles relax as the wind blows through my long fur.

I jump over the high fence and turn back into a human." Let's go slow poke." I start running and sit on the basketball hoop

I snarl briefly, then speed up, leaping into the air as a wolf and shifting to a kestrel at the peak of my jump to land on the hoop next to him. "I'm not slow!"
