Cairo || Unicorn || Seeker || M: Theo, Kavik and Calamity (Ind)
"Ooo, mint," he said, ears pricking as Theo pulled out a bunch of greens. There was something almost addicting about the soft, juicy leaves. The taste tingled a little, and drinking water afterwards was an experience, but the unicorn couldn't help himself -- once he started eating it, he couldn't stop. "When was the last time I bit you? I have sabers; you wouldn't have a hand anymore... But if you need me to carry everything, I won't mind too much."
The mischievous look returned to the black equine's features as he lipped the mint from Theo's hands. As he did so, his gaze roamed about the scene before them. The leads and seconds were congregating, perhaps to discuss the group's next moves. It would not be long before they were off again, hopefully further south away from the heat wafting in off the desert's ridges.
"Are you feeling alright?" he asked, attention drawn to Theo's sudden change in tone and stature. He seemed to have shrunk in on himself a little, and a sort of wariness was being eminated from his frame. "I knew you wanted to move, but I didn't know you were that keen on it... What's wrong?"
Furrowed brows overshadowed his electric blue eyes, and he moved his concerned gaze to where he'd last seen Theo looking. "Is it that twerp from your homelands? Did he do something? I'm in a killing mood; I could kill him. Or at least kick his butt a little bit... His bond, though... I can't take a hellhound."

Kavik || Erren || Seeker || M: Calamity, Pygmy, Jasmine, Onyx, Eva
As Kavik turned to follow Jasmine, he noticed Pygmy waiting quite patiently nearby. He felt a bit bad for having missed the amphithere's presence beforehand and gave the creature a slight dip of his head. Onyx's call caught his attention as well, and he said, "I guess you'd better get going, then. Have fun doing fun things."
There was a hint of envy in his tone as he thought of Calamity and Pygmy getting to go exploring under the guise of patrolling. He was stuck going with the healers for having zoned out while playing with knives. How... immature. How disappointing. Shaking his head, Kavik followed after Jasmine's dark frame.
Eva moved alongside her creature's shoulder and, as the hellhound asked her final question, Kavik overheard the woman respond in a low tone, "Most hellhounds are more prone to creating wounds rather than tending to them. Unicorns and others with healing-based powers are more common, but that doesn't make you any less skilled in healing than they are. You just had to work a little harder to achieve that skillset is all, and there's nothing wrong with that."
He wanted to vocalize his agreement with Eva's words, but he kept his mouth shut, not knowing whether it was supposed to be a private conversation. Instead, Kavik trailed along behind until they reached Eva's ever-growing stash of herbs, ointments, and who knows what else.
