That's so valid tho, at my uni we have a t-rex skull out in our ACLC building, just sitting on the ground for people to look at and touch lmao. We also have a massive turtle skeleton in our museum which I find so cool

That's awesome, I mean technically mine are at my home too, gotta love college. It 100% is an art and a beautiful thing, honoring the animal that gave its life too. At my college we have a moose head that's fallen into disarray, well-loved though, it's considered to be a good luck charm.

Lmao, am I proud of it? No, do I need references and facts for things? Yeah, kinda XD

Yeah, this has bothered me since I was little so (No one outside of my family knows this XD) I still use kids toothpaste because it's sadly the only one I can stand. I wish they made other flavors, but mint is pretty much it unless you go hunting on amazon

But zombies are usually pretty far gone where the flesh is peeling off of the bones vs just beginning to eat away at things

Torka uses she/her pronouns

As you enter the inn, the warmth from the fire warms your face and a relaxed feeling surges over your body. Torka looks up at you and waves a paw for you to join her at the bar.

"Welcome! Can I get you something to drink? Maybe a nice meal?"

She offers you a humble little menu as she looks around the lively inn.

How to use the Inn

When inside the inn, you're automatically in the lobby, which means everyone else in the lobby can hear your conversations if they choose. However you'll be assigned a room number when you sign up and you're welcome to go and take people to your room to discuss quests and have private conversations. These MUST be kept PG13 per forum rules and you MUST include In room # above your roleplay post or else it will be assumed that your in the lobby again.

You may also sleep to refill your health if you are out of pinecones.

Torka's ears perked as she listened to Conan, her gaze darkening a bit.

"Ive lost many friends to the things in the forest... there's many mindless creatures and dangerous illnesses out there."

She shrugged as she began cleaning a glass.

"Its safe here, and we have everything we need because of people like you who go out and find it, slay creatures and keep us safe. I suppose I more just want to make sure you have a cozy place to come back to."

She placed the glass she'd been cleaning on the counter before pulling out a page and quickly sketching and labeling a crude map, placing it on the counter. Pointing to a place in the market clearing of Glowmire.

"The Quistarin Tripelts over at the Quest Tent will pay you pinecones to help out around town, I'd recommend Yew's Quests to start out. They'll keep you mostly around town, he may even give you a fishing rod!"

Tragedy - Dragon

The lumbersome beast enters the inn, his orange glowing eyes canvasing the inside carefully. His ear flicks and a puff of smoke exits his firey nostrils as he reaches up, pulling down the cloak away from his snout and face. As the door shuts behind hin, he inhales softly, breathing in the warmth that swallows him like a blanket. As a strange fellow wards him closer, Tragedy comes closer, eyeing stout wolf close by. His eyes then swerve to Torka after listening into the conversation.

"Hello," He introduces himself," May I ask what kind of quests would be avaible?

Torka looked up at the dragon as he entered, smiling warmly as he spoke. Her answer coming in a sweet tone.

"The triplets offer many kinds of quests, Yew offers quests to help around town, Yip offers trapping quests around the forest and Yore will give you slaying quests that keep the town safe. Those pay the most handsomely, but are the most dangerous."

The wolf eyed the dragon up and down and her face darkened, thinking he may have some kind of powers.

"I'll warn you now, abilities of those gifted in the outside world have never worked inside the Rotten Forest... Glowmire, maybe but not out there. Any powers you have will not protect you from what lurks there."

Ocean walks in, tail slightly tucked. She was nervous but then she saw Torka, she felt calmer. She approacher her and sat, enjoying the fire warmth on her fur. She looked around and saw some others in the Inn, having quiet converations. She overheard about the jobs in town and though about going to see Yew to help out, but first she went to get her room key from Torka.

"It should be in the little pouch of pinecones I gave you. But you should only need it to lock the door. I leave the rooms unlocked when they're unoccupied."

She explained, tilting her head.

Torka turned her attention to Moth and smiled, but her features darkened when the forest was mentioned.

"Ive not been in the forest in quite sometime, I imagine it's even worse now. But when I came into Glowmire you could hardly walk twenty feet without nearly getting crushed by a rotting tree or attacked by some mindless beast."

She sighed and shook her head.

"There was a time that I thought all of the creatures in the forest could be tamed. Sadly though when I say they're mindless, that's just what I mean. It's almost as if the fungus itself has corrupted them."

She shrugged and tapped her claw on the counter as she thought about it.

"I think I read about something similar happening with ants in the outside world. I suppose the fungi here are just more advanced somehow so they can take over lions and dragons."

Torka flicked an ear and looked up at the wall, the sky shimmering through the window.

"I'm sure you've already noticed it's always night here, the same goes for the Forest. And there's also no way for us to clean the forest outside of our regular path, so you may come across bodies out there."

Her eyes grew stormy and her ears flattened, nose crinkling as if she'd smelled something sour.

"Don't go near them though. That's how people get Death Spores here. It'll ebb away at your strength until you die or someone fixes up a remedy for you. Rayne in the town center can help if that ever happens though."

She reasured, her gaze once more becoming soft and sweet.
