The male stood, and he walked over, muster a flirtatious grin, while still keeping his distance respectfully,

"Well hello," he said,

"Care to hunt with me?" the lone male then asked, Dae got the feeling he didn't know she had cubs, otherwise he wouldn't have been so bold.

"And why would I hunt with you?" she questioned, still be cautious, Dae would only leave her cubs for so long, and hunting took a while to do, especially since there wasn't any prey in sight, other than the zebras that had crossed over into Pride territory.

Kreon

"Yes, but I was alone before joining it. So I would keep an eye out for them. If you don't want to be chased out." Storm said, stepping forward,

"Ah, gotcha," he nodded,

"Thanks for the heads up," he nodded, shaking out his mane and standing up, eyes darting around to look for Zamri who was still missing.

"How far is your pride from here?" he asked, a bit cautious since he was a Pride territory, speaking with one of they're lionesses.

Dae

"Because we both seem hungry, and we have better odd hunting together, am I wrong" He started, while the male did have a point, Dae was still unsure whether to leave her cubs unprotected near Pride territory or go hunt for them and did she dare tell him that she had cubs?

"What's the harm in a little hunt, especially for a lone lioness such as yourself? Better to have someone else to hunt with." he then said, Dae stayed quiet as she thought before he then added,

"I saw a small group of warthogs the other way if you're interested since I ended up, unfortunately, losing a zebra foal to a pride's territory."

"I would go...but I'm actually not alone.." she spoke, mumbling her words and hoping the male would understand, she shook her head embarrassed and stepped back near her cubs who were now starting to stir.

Dae

"I-i'm sorry. I hadn't noticed them" The male spoke,

"Well, warthogs are easy for young ones to learn to hunt" he offered,

"I guess," Dae said softly, the male seemed to be in a bit of 'discomfort' as he realized she had cubs and wasn't some lone lioness he could pick up, though Dae and the cubs needed to eat and this was their chance.

"Though I haven't really taught them much since we've just been wandering and picking up the remains from some of the pride," she admitted, cautiously watching the male for his reaction,

"We could leave them here so they don't accidentally scare the prey, but that would be risky..."

Dae

"Bring them. There is a crazy lioness out there that already tried to steal cubs thinking they were mine" The male spoke,

"I ran into a lone lioness who literally ran into me, and then started spewing her lives story," Dae nodded, wondering gif it had been the same female,

"She said her name was Delilah or something like that," she said, shaking her head,

"Better them learn now. Teaching on your own, might be a little hard." He then added,

"Yes, it was always kind of hard rearing these little rascals, Nova was the only one with a sliver of patients, the other two were just interested in eating the prey," she smiled, nosing her cubs awake, Dae and the sleepy cubs trotted after, Athena seemed to be in goods spirits and kept up well, while Kion and Nova wanted to run ahead by the male, though Dae made sure they knew to stay silent.

"I didn't seem to catch your name," Dae said quietly, as they approached the prey,

"That's her. She did the same thing to me. Wouldn't leave me alone after I told her to back off." He said, Dae nodded from beside him and quieted Kion as he flicked at the males tail, the three seemed comfortable around him if she was.

"My name is Zypher," The male said,

"Mine is Dae, I'll properly introduce you to the cubs once we grab a warthog," she nodded,

"Now be very silent," she whispered to her cubs,

"You are going to watch me and Zypher hunt warthogs, next time you can help, but right now you need to be silent," she told her cubs, they blinked in agreeance and settled down in a patch of tall grass, anxiously watching,
