hmmm... I really like the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini- but you've probably read that one... I like Crown of Feathers by Nicki Pau Preto, and the third book is being written.
The Skyward trilogy (currently duology) by Brandon Sanderson, and then there's a book series I found here in Germany that's originally written in English but only really had traction in Germany, so the last few books are only available in German. I think it's called Simon Thorn something something in English, in German its Animox by Aimee Carter.
